Love/Hate

Hayden's P.O.V.

Everyone left and I went upstairs to my room. I closed the door and walked over to bed, plopping down, looking up at the ceiling. After a year of heartache and abuse, I took Luke back. I never thought that I'd do that in a thousand years. I was wrapped up in my overwhelming thoughts that I didn't notice the yelling coming from Niall's house.

I got up and walked over to the window cautiously. I saw Niall sitting on the edge of his bed with his face in his hands. "Maybe I should check on him." I picked a tree branch and threw it at his window. He looked at me and got up. He made his way over to the window and lifted it up.

"What?"

"I heard yelling and I wanted to know if you're okay." He looked away and I then knew that he wasn't okay. He looked at me and was about to say something when his mom called his name.

He looked at me and sighed, "I got to go." he closed the window and left his room. I stood there looking at no one when my phone began ringing really loudly. I ran over to my dresser and grabbed it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Luke. I was wondering if you'd like to hang out with me....tonight?"

"Um....sure. What time did you have in mind?"

"Right now." I was confused what did he mean. As if on queue he answered my question. "Look out your window." I removed the phone from my ear and looked at the window. I walked over to the window and opened it. I poked my head out and saw Luke in the car with five other people, including Kaitlyn. He honked the car and waved.

"Okay, I'll be down in a few minutes." I rushed to closet and changed into something cute. I left my hair the way is and put on red lipstick. I grabbed my purse, phone and keys off the dresser and walked out of my room. I went downstairs into the kitchen and saw Dad sitting at the table reading.

I walked over to him and he smiled at me, "Hi. Sweetie. What can I do for you?"

"Can I go to a party with my friends." He looked at me unsure and began scratching his head. "Please, it's only my girlfriends and I." He continued scratching his head and looked at me.

"Fine but be home no later than four."

"Thanks daddy." I kissed his cheek and ran out of the kitchen. I rushed to the front door and stop. I fixed my hair and opened the door.

Luke's P.O.V.

I was talking to Kaitlyn when Alex, my friend, tapped my shoulder. "Look." I looked at the house and the door opened. Hayden walked out and I swear she looked beautiful. She walked over to the car and looked at me.

"Hi."

"Hey." The others looked back and forth between us at our awkwardness. Destinee nudged me and I snapped back into reality. "You can sit in the front with Kaitlyn and I."

She looked around and raised an eyebrow, "Where?" She then looked at me and smiled. "Dare me?"

"Mhmm." I nodded while she walked around to my side and got in. She sat on my lap and I closed the door. I drove off and she lend out the window. She started cheering loudly and I laughed, silently, to myself. Now this is the Hayden I knew before in Florida.
