~Ali's POV~ 1 week later

Today was the big day. I start university today, so I'm not going to have as much time to spend with Liam and Harry. I had grown quite close with Liam since the night we went out and got drunk. He was such a sweet person and he really looked out for me. He showed me around the city and he even helped me unpack and get my furniture all set up. My house looks great now thanks to him. I showered and got dressed, grabbing an apple out of the bowl on the table as I walked out the door. To my surprise Liam had just pulled up in his car.

"Get in, I'm driving you to school!" He yelled at me with a big smile. I got in as he drove off. We chatted about where I was from on the way.

"Do you miss it?" He asked, taking me by surprise.

"Yeah, I really do. And the worst part about it is I haven't been able to get in contact with my mom at all since I've been here. I miss her so much. And I miss Chase. I just hope he's doing okay. He is my best friend, the only one to really hold me together when I ready to burst at the seams. He's saved my life countless times." I spilled, tears pricking at the corner of my eyes.

"He sounds like one special guy," Liam said.

"He really is. I love him to death. That's why he's my background," I pulled out my phone and showed him. He let out a big breath of air.

"What?" I ask, confused.

"I thought you were talking about a guy! If he was human that would be really hard to compete with!" I laugh at his relief that Chase is a horse.

We pulled up front of the building. Liam gets out and quickly runs over to open my door before I could.

"well thank you kind sir!"

"You're very welcome mi lady!" I laughed as he bowed like a Prince and brought my hand to his lips, kissing it softly, never breaking eye contact. His brown eyes burned into my blue ones, making me blush with the intensity of the moment. He walked back to his car as I walked to my class, smiling like an idiot.

I took a cab home since Liam texted me saying he was at the studio for a bit with the boys. They were working on a new album and they had to brainstorm some ideas. I decided to make some cookies when I had got home, so I walked into the kitchen and pulled out all the ingredients. I made the dough and started spooning it on to the baking sheets, snitching bites every now and then. I love cookie dough, it is delicious. Once I put the cookies in the oven, I pulled out my book and started reading the chapter I was assigned for tonight. It was all about the basic anatomy of a horse which I already know all about, so it was easy. I finished reading just as the timer went off. I pulled the cooking out of the oven and scraped them off the sheets and onto the counter to cool. They smelled so good.

I took a bite from one. It was soft and gooey and chocolates, just so good. The doorbell rang, and I wondered who it was. I opened my door to see Liam. He looked at me for a second before noticing my cookie.

"COOKIES!" He yelled and ran inside. I laughed at his childish behavior and followed him inside. He was devouring a cookie when I came in.

"These are seriously the best cookies I've ever tasted," he said with a full mouth.

"Hahaha well thank you!" I laughed.

"How was your first day of Uni?"

"It went really well. I already knew a lot of what we covered today so it was all basically review for me."

"Well aren't you a smarty pants," he joked and I laughed.

"well duh, I'm a genius," I joked around with him. I found myself really enjoying his company. He was so sweet to me, and really cared. He was scrolling through his phone when he stopped and read something.

"What is it? Is something wrong?" I asked as he stared intently at the screen. He didn't say anything he just handed the phone over. It was a picture of us from this morning with him kissing my hand. I went on to read the caption.

"Liam Payne from One Direction was spotted this morning outside of the Royal Veterinary College with a mystery girl. The band member opened her door for her and helped her out of his car. Not only did the two look familiar with each other but things got a little personal when Payne kissed her hand. Who is this mystery girl? Has she won the heart of one of the most wanted men in the world?"

"wow," I said as I handed his phone back. I guess people really do know everything the boys do. I didn't even know there were people taking pictures of us this morning, I never saw anyone around us.

"I'm so sorry Ali, they follow me everywhere and I wasn't thinking. Now if they find out who you are they won't leave you alone, I'm so so sorr-" I cut him off by putting my hand over his mouth.

"It's okay li, it is. They were bound to find out sooner or later. And they don't know it's me yet so I won't be mobbed or anything," I reassured him. He smiled at me.

"hey Ali?"

"yeah Li-Li?"

"Would you like to go out to dinner with me tonight? Just you and me?" He asked.

"like a date?" I looked at him, and he smiled nervously. I have to admit, I liked him. He was different than my past boyfriends, he understood me better. He actually listened to what I talked about. He showed me respect and he was an interesting person. And I found him super attractive,

"Yeah, a date."

"I'd love to." He beamed a giant smile. He kissed me on the cheek as he walked away.

"I'll be here at 6:30 love" and he walked out the door and to his own home. i smiled, the. Realized it's 4:30 now. I only have two hours to get ready.

Ive been super busy lately, I'm sorry this took a while, but here it is! The next chapter!

Liam asked Ali on a date! AND SHE SAID YES! Next update I will try to make tomorrow but I can't promise anything! But I will try to get better about making them.
