(2 months later)
Katie's P.O.V
As I stepped out the shower and looked into the mirror, I realized i'm huge. I'm 2 months in my pregnancy and i'm huge. Well I am carrying twins I thought. I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into the bedroom. Niall was still asleep, how can you sleep untill 11:45?! I thought. I dressed into a sweatshirt and sweatpants. I flipped my hair into a high bun and put on some socks, the hard wood floors are always cold in the morning. I walked out of the room and into Ava's room. I open the door and she is jumping up and down, smiling.
"Well good morning princess." I kiss her head.
"Wanna go wake up daddy?" I look at her. She starts laughing.
"I'm gonna take that as a yes." I say picking her up. We walk into our room and I sit her next to him to see what she was gonna do. She started poking his face and babbling. Then she grabbed his nose and babbles:
"Dada!" Oh my god, she just said her first word. He starts moving then he wakes up. He lifts her up high and the air.
"Good morning angel." he says tickling her.
"Morning Ni, I just wanted to say something." I say to him.
"What's up babe?" he says.
"She just said her first words." I say to him.
"Really! What was it!" he says excitedly.
"It was Dada!" I say excitedly.
"Oh that's my girl!" he says blowing on her stomach. He hands her over to me while getting dressed. After he gets dressed, we head into her room and dress her for the day. Then we go downstairs for breakfast, and today's the day she's gonna try solid baby food. We walk into the kitchen to see Harry and Liam sitting at the table.
"Good morning." Harry smiles.
"Morning, where are the other lads?" I ask.
"Well Louis and Zayn are still somehow fast asleep." Liam says.
"Hey great news!" Niall says.
"There better not be more than 2 in there." Harry laughs.
"Oh, no Ava said her first word!" Niall jumps up.
"Oh that's great, what was it? Liam asks.
"Dada." I say smiling.
"Oh that's great, little Ava's all grown up!" Harry says picking her up and throwing her in the air. She started laughing uncontrollably. We all start laughing, its Niall's laugh, of course its contagious. I put her up in her highchair and put a bib around her.
"Okay, today is the day Ava will try solid baby food." I say taking out a jar of carrots.
"Now this could end up EVERYWHERE." I make sure I emphasize everywhere. I take out a baby spoon and pop open the jar. I take a spoon full of carrots and bring it towards her.
"Okay Ava, lets do it." I say putting the spoon in her mouth. She tastes it for a minute, then she spits it everywhere, a little hitting each of us. Okay let me rephrase that, it hit Niall and I 20,000 times more than Harry and Liam.
"Oh shit!" Niall shouts.
"It smells bad!" I shout attempting to get some off.
"We need to change." Niall says.
"Liam. Harry, can you attempt to clean her up?" I ask them.
"We can try." Liam says getting up.
"Okay good." I say following Niall up the stairs. We walk into the bedroom and get changed.
Harry's P.O.V
While Niall and Katie get changed, it is our duty to clean up Ava.
"So do we just put her in the sink?" I ask.
"Harry, she isnt a dish, you clean her with a washcloth." Liam says to me. He walks over to the closet and pulls out a washcloth. He wets it with warm water and some soap. He walks over to Ava and starts rubbing her face. After 3 minutes her face is clean.
"Ava, you need to learn to eat food, your dad is Niall." Liam laughs. Just then, Katie and Niall come down the stairs in new clothing.
Katie's P.O.V
We walk into the kitchen with new clothes on, seeing that Ava is squeaky clean.
"Nice job boys." I say examining her face. Just then my phone rings, its Denise.
"Hello?" I say.
"Hey Katie, Lou and I were wondering if you were busy today?" she says.
"No, we were just gonna hang, why?" I question.
"We were wondering if you wanted to start setting up the nursery?" she says.
"Yeah sure, the lads watching the kids again?" I whisper.
"Yeah." she laughs.
"What now?!" Harry says.
"Oh nothing." I say hanging up the phone.
"Did you just say we are watching the kids again?" Niall smirks.
"Maybe." I giggle.
"Lets get her!" Liam yells. They start attacking me, tickling me to death.
"Oh okay stop! I cant breathe!" I laugh out of breath. They stop and I'm just thinking, where's Eleanor, Perrie and Danielle?
"Hey guys, where have the girls been?" I ask
"Oh their all away on business." Liam says sipping his tea. Just then, the door bell rings. I answer it and its Lou and Denise.
"Hello!" I hug them.
"How are you?" they ask.
"Okay, my feet are swelling but i'm good." I say. Just then, Theo and Lux come running in, once again attaching to my legs.
"Hi Kat!!" they both babble.
"Hello children!" I say picking them up, kissing them. A look of confusion hits Lux's face.
"Your tummy big?" she says pointing to my stomach.
"Yes sweetie, i'm having another baby, except there's two now." I say to her.
"More children?" Harry says having a pretend heart attack. We all laugh.
"Should we go check out this room?" Lou says.
"Yep, we'll be right back." I say running up the stairs. I open the door, the whole room was full of weapons. I let out a gasp and back away slowly.
"What is this?" Lou questions.
"Niall!!" I yell from the top.
"Yes?" he yells.
"Get up here!!" I yell. He comes running up the stairs and stands next to me.
"What's up?" he says.
"What is this?" I say pointing in the room. A look of shock hits his face.
"Um, um." he stutters.
"What, were you and your buddies planning to kill me and your child?" I raise my eyebrow.
"No, I would never want anything to happen to you." he says walking towards me. I back away and hit the wall.
"Babe, these were for if another gang wanted trouble, that's all." he says.
"Well i'm not staying here intill all these weapons are out of sight. I dont want the children seeing these." I say.
"Where are you gonna stay?" he questions.
"I'll stay at Lou's intill you can find a place for these death machines." I say walking into Ava's room. I start packing some of her clothes and other necessities.
"What are you doing?" he questions.
"Oh you think i'm letting a 12 month old stay here in a house filled with weapons?" I question. he shakes his head. I pack some clothes for me as well. I run down the stairs, Lou, Denise and Niall following behind. I pick up Ava and the bags, Denise and Lou following me.
"Where you guys going?" Harry asks.
"Well we are staying at Lou's for a few days intill you killers can find a place for your death machines!" I shout tears falling. Niall comes running for me.
"Dont touch me! You figure out what your gonna do! But i'm not coming back intill you do!" I say walking out the door. We put our children in the car and head to Greg's house, then Lou's. Were in the car driving, the tears wont stop falling.
"I trusted him." I weep.
"Katie, he's never done this before, we had no idea. We would have told you if we knew." Denise says.
"I just cant believe he put all our lives in danger." I say wiping the tears.
"Well I grantee that Niall loves you so much, you'll be home tomorrow." Lou smiles.
"I hope your right." I say.
Niall's P.O.V
How the hell did I let this happen? I thought tears running down my face.
"What the hell happened?" Harry says.
"Well we forgot that the room at the end of the hall was our weapon room, Katie saw it, and took off." I say wiping the tears.
"She said she wont come back intill we remove them." I say.
"Well what if we need them?" Zayn questions.
"We wont, were not even a gang anymore, your uncles and i'm a dad." I say.
"Okay so what do we do?" Louis questions.
"Well the faster we remove the weapons, the faster she comes back." I say sniffling. We go upstairs and start to remove the weapons.
Katie's P.O.V
We just dropped off Denise and Theo, now we are on the way to Lou's house.
"Mama, why Kat coming?" Lux asks.
"Sweetie, she's staying at our house for the night." Lou says.
"Yay!" she claps her hands. We pull up to the house and walk in. As I hold Ava, Lux pulls on my pants leg.
"Come see my room." she says. I follow her up the stairs and into a room. The walls are pink, she has a princess bed spread, everything is pink and sparkly.
"This is my room." she says smiling.
"Its a very pretty room angel." I smile at her.
"Ava this is your bed, sorry I was out of sparkly blankets." Lux says to Ava. Ava just smiles and giggles.
"Dinner time!" Lou shouts from downstairs. We walk down the stairs and enjoy a lovely taco meal Lou prepared.
"This is very good, Lou." I smile.
"Thank you." she smiles. After dinner, she starts the dishes and says to Lux:
"Lux, show Kat your night time routine."
"Okay mama." she says. I follow her up the stairs and into the bathroom.
"First I take a bubble bath!" she says excitedly. I run the water and put lots of bubbles in it. I put Lux and Ava in the tub together. I'm so glad that Ava has a friend, and such a sweet one. I take them out when their fingers start looking like prunes. I dry them off and put on their pj's.
"Okay what's next?" I ask her.
"Brush teeth." she says. She steps on her stool and brushes her teeth and goes potty.
"Next its sleepy time." she says.
"Night mommy!!" she yells.
"Night sweetie!" she yells back. She leads my into the bedroom and she jumps into her bed.
"I wish it was that easy when you slept over." I laugh. I lye Ava down in the travel crib.
"Next you read a story." she says. I pick out a Dr. Suess book and read it. By the time I finish, they are both fast asleep. I quietly shut the door and walk back downstairs.
"Wow you have a strict schedule." I say to her.
"Yeah if she doesnt go to bed at a special time, she doesnt get enough rest and is cranky." she says. I nod my head. After about an hour conversation we go to sleep. I had to sleep on the couch but its a comfy couch.
Niall's P.O.V
As I lyed in bed all alone, I couldnt sleep knowing that Katie and Ava werent here with me. I shtut out my thoughts and tried to sleep.
