Katie's P.O.V
(4 months later)
Right now i'm in the shower, Niall is watching Ava for me. She is defiantly a handful, we were up half the night. I switched off the water and wrapped a towel around me. Today we are going over to see Niall's family and Lux and Lou are supposed to come too. I got dressed and packed everything we needed for the day. I got Ava dressed and fed her. Niall got ready and we made our way over. (20 minutes later) We pulled up to Greg's house and walked in.
"Hello everybody!" Niall shouts. Lux and Theo come running up us.
"Ni!!!" Lux shouts hugging his leg.
"Kat!!!!" Theo runs up to me clamping onto my leg.
"Hi angel." I kiss his head. A look of confusion falls on his face.
"Who that?" he questions.
"This is Ava, my baby." I say to him.
"I'm your baby?" he questions.
"No sweetie, your my buddy, Ava is my child, I take care of her." I say to him.
"Pretty baby." he kisses her head.
"Aww." I say. Just then Niall walks up to me, holding Lux.
"Lux sweetie, this is Katie, my girlfriend." Niall says to her.
"Hi Kat, i'm Lux, i'm Ni best friend!" she giggles at me.
"Hi Lux, its great to finally meet you." I say to her. Then a look of confusion falls on her face.
"Who that?" she questions.
"Lux, this is my baby, Ava. She can be your playmate, but when she gets older." I explain to her.
"We play princesses together?" she questions.
"Very soon." I smile at her. Niall sets her down and she clamps to my other leg.
"What am I? A baby magnet?" Niall laughs. We make our way into the kitchen, its really hard to do so when you have 3 children attached to ya. Just then, I finally come face to face with Niall's mom.
"Hello love, you must be Katie." she hugs me.
"Yep that's me, nice to meet you Mrs. Horan." I smile at her.
"Please darling, call my Maura." she smiles. A gasp falls from her lips.
"Is this my grandbaby?" she questions.
"Yes indeed, meet Ava Grace." I smile at her. She takes her from my arms and holds her close.
"She's got those eyes, Ni." she smiles at her son.
"Well it seems you have some children on your hands." she says looking down at my legs.
"Yeah, it seems that way doesnt it?" I question. Just then Lou, Lux's mom walks in.
"Hi you must be Katie." she hugs me.
"Yes, nice to finally meet you, Lou." I smile at her.
"Lux, why are you on Katie's leg?" she asks her daughter.
"Cause mama, she my Kat." she smiles at her mother.
"She mine too." Theo smiles. We both laugh.
"Wow children like you huh?" she asks me.
"Yeah, its been that way my whole life." I explain to her. Just then Greg and Denise walk in.
"Hello Katie." Greg kisses my cheek.
"Hello Greg, Denise." We hug.
"So where's the miracle Niall's been talking about?" Greg questions. I point at Maura, "Over there." They both hold her and hand her over to Niall.
"So what's up with your legs? New style of leg warmers?" Denise laughs.
"It could be that. According to them, i'm there Kat." I say to them.
"Oh, I see." Greg says. We enjoy a lovely dinner made by Maura. At dinner, Lux and Theo wouldnt sit anywhere, unless it was next to me, so I sat by them. Babies are at there cutest when eating. We eat our dessert or as Lux and Theo call it 'bessert', and Niall, Ava and I are just about to leave when Lux and Theo throw tantrums.
"Where Kat going?" Lux asked her mom.
"Home darling." she hugs her.
"I d-dont want her to go." she weeps/
"Me either." Theo pouts.
"Well they could sleep over, if you guys are okay with that." I suggest them.
"You know, that's not a bad idea." Lou says.
"Lux sweetie, your going to go home with Ni and Kat, okay?" she looks at her daughter.
"Yay!!!!" she shouts at the top of her lungs.
"I'll come get her in the morning." she says to us.
"Theo darling, your going home with Ni and Kat too, okay?" Greg says to Theo.
"You got it daddy!" he says excitedly.
"You can drop him off in the morning." Greg explains. I nod my head. I grab Ava's car seat and Niall grabs Lux and Theo. We load the children in the backseat and head home.
"Katie, what do think the lads are going to say about this?" Niall questions.
"Well dont the lads love Lux and Theo?" I question.
"Of course they do." he says.
"Then there is nothing to worry about." I say to him. We pull up to the house and walk in to them in the living room, watching football.
"We have some guests." Niall says setting down Lux and Theo.
"What are they doing here?" Liam questions.
"They got upset when Katie tried to leave." Niall explains.
"Lux!" Harry shouts running over to Lux picking her up and lifting her in the air.
"Hi Hazza." she kisses his nose.
"How's my favorite girl?" he questions.
"Big and strong!" she says showing her muscles. He tickles her stomach.
"Hey Lux!" Louis says hugging her.
"Hey Lou." she says grabbing his face.
"Lux!" Zayn says.
"Hey Zaynie, you still have coloring on your arms!" she says rubbing his arms.
"Hello Lux!" Liam says.
"Hiya Li!" she jumps on him. Then she runs back to me and stands next to me.
"Say hi Theo!" I say to him.
"Hiya people!" he waves at them. They all laugh. I hand Ava over to Niall and put Lux and Theo over my shoulders. They start laughing.
"Time for a bath stinky's!" I walk up the stairs. I run the bath water and put them in. I wash their hair and give them some bath toys to play with. I sit back and watch them splash and play together.
Niall's P.O.V
Right now the lads, Ava and I are watching the football game.
"They are really attached to Katie, huh?" Harry questions
"Yeah, very attached, its the cutest thing." I say to them. Just then I hear the pitter patter of little feet coming down the stairs. Lux runs into the living room in just her diaper and jumps on Harry.
"Lux, where are your clothes?" Harry asks her.
"She ran away." Katie said coming down the stairs with Theo in one hand and clothes in the other.
"Lux did you run away?" Harry says.
"Yes I did, it was very funny." she giggles. Katie lye's down Theo and dresses him in pj's and sits him on the couch with us. Then she picks up Lux and dresses her in pj's and sits her back on Harry. Louis is holding Theo when he falls asleep in his arms.
"Aww what a picture." Katie laughs.
"Well I need to clean her up, i'll be back." Katie says picking Ava up and making her way upstairs.
"Wait for me!" Lux shouts running up the stairs with her. Katie is the best.
Katie's P.O.V
Lux and I walk into Ava's room and she jumps up on the guest bed.
"Is this her room?" she asks pointing at Ava.
"Yes it is sweetie." I say to her.
"It a very petty room." she says smiling. I take a wash cloth and clean Ava up a bit. I change her diaper and put her in some pj's. I feed her a bottle and lye her in the crib.
"She go night nights?" Lux questions.
"Yes Lux, she goes sleep." I say to her.
"I have a question." she asks me.
"Oh and whats that?" I ask her.
"Do you luv Ni?" she asks.
"Yes sweetie, very much." I kiss her head.
"Lets let Ava sleep." I say picking her up and shutting the door behind me. We walk downstairs into the living room to see Theo jumping up and down on Louis lap with tears in his eyes.
"Where' Kat!" he shouts in Louis ear.
"Sweetie, im right here." I say to him. A smile falls on his face and he runs to me. I pick him up and kiss him.
"I'm gonna go make there bottles from b-e-d t-i-m-e." I spell to them. I walk into the kitchen, Lux and Theo not to far behind. I make their bottles and give them to them. They bring them into the living room and Lux sat on my right and Theo in my lap. Niall scooted next to me while he had the chance.
"Hey babe." he kisses my cheek.
"Hey sweetie, it feels like I never see you anymore." I kiss his nose.
"Yeah I know, children are such a handful." he says to me. About an hour goes by and its 7:30pm, bed time.
"Okay kiddies, time for bed." I say to them. They look at eachother and Lux says:
"We arent sleepy." she says yawning. Niall laughs.
"Yeah okay." Niall says pulling Lux over his shoulder. I pick up Theo and follow Niall.
"Say goodnight." Niall says to Lux.
"Bye bye." she waves to the lads.
"Say goodnight Theo." I say to him.
"Night." he waves. We quietly walk into Ava's room and turn on the lights, dimly. We lye Lux in the guest bed and tuck her in with her teddy.
"Goodnight Lux." we both say.
"Night Ni, night Kat." she kisses our noses. We lye Theo in his traveling crib we brought. We wrapped him in his blanket and handed him his sheep.
"Night Theo." we say
"Night Kat, night Ni." he smiles at us. We walk over to Eva and kiss her head.
"Goodnight angel." I smile at her.
"Goodnight princess." he smiles at her. We turn off the light, put on the night light, and shut the door.
"They are the cutest." I say to Niall.
"Yeah, but they are quite the handful." he says. We walk into our room, get in our pj's and lye down together. (2 hours later) I hear the door creak open and the sound of little footsteps. Then someone jumps on the bed in between us. I flip the lamp on to see Lux sitting in the middle of us smiling.
"Lux, sweetie its 12:30 in the morning, why are you awake?" Niall raises his eyebrow at her.
"My eyes are open, see?" she says budging her eyes out of her head. We both laugh.
"Lux, sweetheart, you cant sleep in here, come on i'll put you back in your bed." I say picking her up. We walk up to the door, and I bend down to her level and say:
"Now we need to be very quiet so we dont wake up Theo and Ava , okay?" I look at her.
"Okay Kat." she smiles at me. I quietly open the door and set her in the bed.
"Now Lux, what do I need to do to get you to stay asleep?" I ask her.
"Well, mama usually sings to me." she says to me.
"Okay, I can sing." I say to her. I clear my throat and quietly start to sing 'twinkle twinkle little star'. I finish the last verse and I look over to see that she is quietly snoring, her little chest moving up and down. I pull the blanket up farther on her and close the door. I walk into our room and lye back down with Niall.
"Finally asleep?" he questions me.
"Yep, singing a little song I like to call 'twinkle twinkle little star' really puts a child to sleep." I say to him.
"That's good, well goodnight." he says kissing my head.
"Goodnight." I say to him. Then we fianlly fall into a deep sleep.
