Chapter 1

Clarissa P.V:
I wait as I listen to my preys heartbeat. It's midnight, the same time I was turned... I hear his footsteps, I see him now. His aura is a dark grey, a depressing color. That's my go sign. I jumped from the shadows of the dark ally and grabbed him. I pulled his head so I could see his neck. The blue vein on his neck was where it kept the most blood at, I bared my fangs and then I bite him. His blood was soft like a pillow and sweet as honey. I can hear his heart beat prancing like a horse. As I drank from him, his heart stopped in a middle of a beat. I dropped the limp body to the ground, as I wiped the blood from my face with my sleeve, his aura turned white as snow flakes the are falling to the ground.

4 years ago....
"Ron, where are you taking me?" I said as I walked blindfolded with my friend, Ron, hands. The only thing I rely on now is my hearing and smell. It smells like rain, I hear the sound of birds chirping in the distance, the sound of twigs under my feet. I think I know where we are. "Ok, I'm going to let you see."He moved his hands from my face and my heart stopped beating for a few seconds. It was our hideout, from when we were kids. We were in the woods once and we found this place, it was new like no one lived in it for years. I walked through the door,there was pictures of us on the walls, some books Mortal Instruments, Divergent, Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter. Then I walked out onto the balcony that was there. He followed behind. "Oh my god... it's still here!" I whispered/screamed. I turned around to see his reaction. He has brown hair and green eyes. He looked really pale under the moon light. I took a look at his eyes for a second and they looked red. I blinked then his eyes were their normal color. I was imagining it, wasn't I?

I grabbed a blanket and laid it down on the balcony. I sat down and look up at the stars. I knew Ron was looking at me, but I was pretending I didn't notice. Every once in awhile I would look at him, he would smile at me. Then Ron broke the silence. "Clary, I always wanted to try this." I turned towards him about to ask him what he means, I never did. He kissed me. He was really cold for some reason but the kiss was amazing. As he kissed my lips, he went towards my neck. He bit me. Not like a love bite, but a real bite. Then I felt pain on my throat. I couldn't even scream because it hurt so bad I couldn't scream. Everything went black.
