Louis POV

I admit it, I was freaking out – for many reasons. First, I’m about to become a father. Second, I’m worried that Liam won’t be here in time to see his child born. Third, I can’t handle seeing Isla in this horrible pain. Fourth, we don’t have the proper facilities and assistance for her to birth these babies. Finally, this could be dangerous for her family if Isla goes all Dracula during the birth. So, excuse me if I’m not altogether with it – there’s a lot to be worried about.

Isla let out another ear piercing scream which snapped me out of my thoughts.

“Babe, try to relax. Focus on your breathing. It will help,” I try to encourage her.

“The hell it will! You try pushing out two babies with frozen insides!”

“Shh calm down babe. I wish I could take the pain for you.”

“Liar! You say that to make yourself feel better! I am never having sex with you again!” She screams and I am praying she is not serious.

“Isla, you don’t mean that. It’s the pain talking love,” I try to soothe her again.

“No, never again. You and Liam can go play with yourselves. I’m done!”

“Okay love, whatever you say. Anything to make you happy,” I’ll agree to anything to calm her down. I know she doesn’t really mean it anyhow. It’s the pain. “Isla, you need to try to stay calm. You don’t want to turn Dracula in your parents’ house.” She freezes at my words.

“Get me out of here Lou. Please. I want to go back to the castle. What if I hurt my family? What if the babies get hurt?” She panics.

“No no. You aren’t going to hurt anyone. You’re my brave and strong girl. It’s going to be okay. We’ll get through this together. You’re too far along to move. Liam will be here soon and everything will be okay.” I kiss her forehead and try to reassure both of us this will all turn out okay.

“Ahhhhhh! Help me Lou!!!” She screams as another contraction hits her.

“Breathe baby, breathe,” I probably look moronic attempting LaMaze but I’d gladly look like a fool to help Isla. “Focus, just focus on me and breathing,” I give her a small smile of encouragement. Suddenly, the door flies open.

“Are you dying in here?!” Her sister shouts looking terrified of the scene before her. It’s getting kind of bloody. Luckily, the blood doesn’t excite me because it’s not truly human blood.

“No! Get out!” Isla shouts in a warning tone.

“No, let me help you,” she ignores Isla and walks down to see how far along she is with delivery.

“Please leave,” Isla pants.

“No.”

“Perhaps it would be best if you left us to this,” I suggest.

“Oh, because you are so well schooled in delivering babies?”

“And you are?”

“No, but I’m sure I know more than you.” She might be right about that. It appears there is no talking her out of leaving. “Okay Isla, I see the head almost crowning. On the next contraction, you should push as hard as you can until it passes.”

“How do you know?” Isla snaps.

“I watch TLC’s ‘A Baby Story’,” she says with a shrug. I have no idea what she is talking about.

Another contraction hits and I grab Isla’s hand as she lets out a primitive yell.

“Keep pushing!” She’s ordered to endure this pain and I wince as she crushes my hand.

“It’s okay love,” all I can do is reassure her.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!” Isla shrieks. I look at her and see the pain overtook her and her eyes have gone red. She’s channeling her inner Dracula to cope with the pain and my fear rises for her family’s safety.

“Isla? What’s wrong with you?! MUMMY, DADDY HURRY!!!! IT’S ISLA!!!!” She screams and I hear them rush to the stairs.

I’m unsure how this will turn out. Isla and I look at each other both fearing our discovery. The door flies open and then is shut.Her parents rush around to look at Isla and they both gasp. Her mum’s hand flies to her face and her father storms to me, grabbing me by my collar.

“What the hell have you done to my daughter Louis! What is she?!!!” He screams in my face.
Before I can respond, the door flies open again. Liam. Thank God. I smile at how perfect his timing is. He looks at me and instinctively knows what he needs to do.

“Did someone call for a doctor?” He says in a low voice. Isla’s family dart their eyes all around the room trying to figure out the source of the sound.

“Why yes, we did,” I smirk.

“Liam, you made it,” Isla whispers completely worn out.

“Who? Where is this Liam?” Isla’s father demands of me trying to jack me against the wall and failing miserably at moving me a millimeter.

“He’s a ghost. Literally and figuratively,” I say with all seriousness.

Liam apparently realizes this is the moment of truth. I watch him walk next to Isla’s father in front of me. He leans in and then goes for the kill.

“Boo!” He shouts.

And just like that, all three members of Isla’s family pass out from shock.

“Great timing mate. Okay, let’s get these babies born and we’ll deal with the family after,” I roll up my sleeves and rush to the foot of the bed while Liam holds Isla’s hand.

“You ready Icy?” Liam asks her with a smile.

“Yes, please.” Isla practically begs.

“Okay love, let’s meet our babies,” I say and give her a wink.

Okay, sorry it took me so long! I've been busy at the office and my Snake Eyes chapters are really long so it takes me 2 weeks to write one.
