Chapter Seven
Christa POV
“You did what?!” Zayn screeches at me. I roll my eyes at his overreaction.
“I just blew up his house geez! It’s not like he was inside the place!” I explain crossing my arms over my chest. He huffs at me while shoving a hand through his quiff.
“Well then where the fuck was he?!” he says exasperated.
“How the fuck am I meant to know?! He didn’t leave any clues behind!” I say throwing my arms in the air in exasperation. Why is he so pissed at me?! I was just letting Louis know how pissed we all were. I knew Zayn and I would never work well together…
“Damnit!” Zayn shouts suddenly causing me to jump. I give him a look of confusion and anger. He might wake Harry up and then he may go ballistic!
“What?!” I snap at him. He turns around and I notice his eyes are suddenly black with anger. Woah! Cool it bro!
“He must have gone to Cali to chase after Heidi!” Zayn says as if I were stupid.
“How do you know that?! For all we know he could have gone to Starbucks for a cup of coffee!” I hiss at him. He shoots me a are-you-serious look and I sigh in defeat. Nobody goes to Starbucks for over a day.
“Well what now?” I say quietly suddenly feeling rather stupid. He pauses before speaking again.
“We let the others deal with him and focus on Harry.” He says. I nod at him and yank my phone out of my back pocket.
“I’ll go and let them know.” I say dialling Jamie’s number.
Harry POV
“Yeah I think Louis may also be in Cali………….Yeah………..I know!” Is that Christa on the phone? I groggily open my heavy eyelids and blink a few times trying to figure out what the hell actually happened to me………
DAMNIT ZAYN! HE SEDATED ME AGAIN!
I huff in fury as I throw my legs off the bed and stand up. Just as I was about to go and beat the crap out of him, I freeze.
Did Christa just say Louis was in Cali?
Shit! He’s gone after Heidi! MY Heidi!
There is no way in hell he is getting his filthy hands on her.
I storm out of the door and am greeted by a rather surprised Christa standing in the hallway by the stairs with her phone still in her hand. Who is she even on the phone to?
“Listen Jamie, I’m gonna have to call you back.” She says not once breaking eye contact with me. She looks scared and she damn well should be! I was sedated and then I wake up to find my ex best friend, who is apparently a stalker, is chasing after my girl. I’m bloody well pissed.
“H-Harry? You’re awake?” She stutters. Well no shit Sherlock! I walk towards her while glaring at her.
“Move the fuck out of the way bitch!” I seethe at her while shoving her out of the way of the stairs. Wow I’m pissed. I need to find Zayn now!
“Hey Christa?! Did you call them?” I hear Zayn call from where I’m presuming to be the living room. Oh I can’t wait to beat the shit out of him.
“She sure did.” I growl coming in from the doorway and walking up to Zayn before grasping his shoulders roughly and slamming him into the wall taking him completely by surprise.
“You know Zayn. I thought you were a loyal gang member but now I am wondering whether you were sent by another rival gang.” I hiss at him slamming him into the wall again causing him to groan in protest.
“Harry….You need to calm down.” He says in pain. His words only anger me further and I ball up my fist before ramming it into his stomach. He groans in pain even more and I smirk at him.
“Now, is it true that Louis’ in Cali?” I ask him through gritted teeth. Just saying his name makes me want to punch a wall. His eyes widen at my words.
“H-how… did you….find out?” he whispers still in pain. I glare at him. He obviously did not want me to find out.
“That doesn’t matter. What matters is that he’s going to go after Heidi.” I hiss at him. Suddenly out of nowhere, he starts laughing bitterly.
“Harry, you need to forget about that bitch. She hurt all of us including you! Why can’t you see that?” he says huskily still vaguely amused. My fury only rises at his words.
He did not just fucking say that.
I decide to save my breath and I slam my fist HARD into his head causing him to limply fall on the floor against the wall.
I sigh with exasperation while shaking my now sore hand in the air.
He always was the hard head in the gang……
I turn around only find Christa standing in the doorway. She stands there cautiously gauging my reaction. Quite frankly….I’m still pissed so she should still be scared.
“What?!” I snap impatiently at her causing her to back away in fear. Good.
“W-what are y-you going to do now?” she asks still stuttering. Wow that’s annoying as fuck. I pause wondering whether I should tell her or not.
Ah well, they’re all gonna find out eventually.
“I’m gonna go to Cali and kill the prick who shot me. Maybe then, I might get Heidi back.”
Niall POV
“Jules! I’m not kidding! You and Heidi need to get the fuck out of the house now! Liam’s thought of a new crazy ass plan to kill Heidi by blowing up the entire goddamn house with these new grenades Louis found!” I snap quietly into the phone so the others can’t hear me.
“Jesus Christ! I’m on it Nialler.” He answers through the phone.
“Be careful.” I say before hanging up on him. I sigh before making my way back over to the others. Jules and I used to be in the same gang way before I had even met Harry’s gang or that other rival gang. He and I bonded almost instantly and naturally be became really close.
So when I found out he was also in Cali, I knew he would be the perfect person to protect Heidi. Besides….he owed me some favours from back when we were in the same gang…..
“You all ready?” Liam says coming up from behind me taking me off guard a little. I compose myself. I cannot let anyone know I am helping Heidi and I especially cannot let anyone know of my true identity.
“Then let’s get these babies on a roll.” He says motioning over to the small black grenades encircling the house.
I gulp as I see them.
I just hope Jules gets himself and Heidi out of there before they go off……
