Heidi POV

“Ok you guys need to explain. Now.” I demand as soon as we arrive at the motel. All three of the boys glance at one another in what seems to be desperation.

“Look. We didn’t want to tell you because we wanted to make this look as realistic as possible.” Zayn starts off.

“You’re making no sense! Start from the beginning Zayn!” I snap irritably at him. I’m so confused and angry. Zayn sighs before looking at me.

“When Harry beat me up back in London for sedating him, something snapped within me. I wanted him dead really badly and I was just so angry about everything. About him, about my break up with Perrie. I wasn’t thinking straight. So I decided to take out all of my anger on Harry. I wanted him dead.” Zayn begins tensely. I narrow my eyes at him in disapproval but I wave my hand at him signalling him to continue.

“So yes at first I did start giving him lethal drugs. When you thought I was injecting medicine into him, I was actually drugging him. That’s why everyday he got worse and worse.” I don’t know if this is supposed to make me feel better. Actually this is making me feel angrier. A lot angrier. But I need to control my anger so I can let him explain. Because even though he drugged Harry, he also saved me from Louis.

“What made you change your mind?” I ask impassively.

“And that’s where Jules and I come in.” Niall steps forward. I frown at the two guys standing behind Zayn.

“We knew we couldn’t let Louis take you away so we came up with a little plan of our own.” Jules says. I nod my head at him willing him to continue.

“When we found out that Zayn shot Louis back in the garage we knew Zayn hated him with a burning passion. So we decided to do a little digging of our own. We wanted to know why Zayn hated Louis so much and we managed to find out why.” Niall explains looking pleadingly over at Zayn. Zayn sighs and nods his head grimly at Niall.

“What did you find out?” I ask confused. Niall swallow briefly before speaking.

“Louis is the reason why Perrie and Zayn broke up. He hooked up with her and she didn’t stop him.” Niall states simply. I see Zayn clench his jaw but he remains quiet. I gape at this newfound information. I look sympathetically at Zayn.

“Oh god! I’m so sorry Zayn.” I whisper. Zayn shoots me a small smile of gratitude but says or does nothing else.

“So that’s why you made the antidote.” I say in realisation and they all nod at me.

“But I’m still confused. Why would Zayn help or at least pretend to help Louis if he hated him so much?” I ask.

“Because Louis threatened to kill Perrie if I didn’t help him.” Zayn pipes up and I again gape at him. I understand that even though Perrie cheated on him, he still loves her.

“What an asshole!” I spit and all three of the boys nod in agreement.

“So anyway, as soon as Jules and I had found out, we confronted Zayn about it and it was true. So we decided to plot against Louis when he least expected it. We knew Louis was at a disadvantage since he was locked up in that garage so it would be easier for us. All three of us got together and planned all of this out. We needed Zayn to be in Louis’ good books so he would be able to trust him.” Jules explains.

“So your plan was to pretend to book his flight to London when in actual fact you hired some guy to take Louis away?” I press.

“Well yes, that taxi driver was one of Jules’ old gang members who owed him a favour. We asked him to sort Louis out even if that meant killing him. We let him have the pleasure of deciding what to do with him.” Niall says and I nod my head. Everything is starting to add up now.

“As I said we didn’t tell anyone so our plan looked real and Louis would think we were on his side.” Zayn says.

So now this all makes sense…except for one thing.

“But this doesn’t explain why you drugged Christa.” I state looking directly at Zayn.

“That’s a different story.” He grumbles and I frown.

“You don’t have to tell me Zayn but I think at least she deserves an explanation don’t you think?” I reason with him and he nods stiffly at me. I shoot him a small smile.

“So we will never see Louis again?” I ask hopeful and all three boys smirk at me.

“Never.”

Harry POV

“Harry?! What the fuck-“ She exclaims as soon as she opens her motel door.

“Cut the bullshit Jamie where is she?!” I snap angrily at her. She stares at me wide eyed but it has no effect on me. I’ve walked all the way here in only this hospital gown so I did get some strange looks. Yes I managed to escape from the hospital.

She sighs sadly and I see a figure walk up behind her.

“Harry?” Liam asks confused.

“Where the fuck is Heidi?!” I shout and both of them wince. I’m fucking pissed. What the fuck has Zayn done to her?!

“You might want to come inside.” Jamie says opening up the door slightly to allow me to enter. For fuck’s sake why can’t anyone give me a straight answer?!

“No! All I want to know is where Heidi is!” I snap.

“Well its kind of a long story.” Liam mumbles and I frown at him.

“What the fuck has Zayn done to her?!” both of their eyes widen even further as I say this.

“How did you….?” Jamie asks shocked.

“One of the nurses saw Heidi with Zayn.” I grumble. They both sigh heavily in unison.

“Harry…Heidi gave herself to Louis in order to save you.” Jamie says warily.

“What the fuck are you talking about?! What has Louis got to do with Zayn?!” I hiss bemused.

“Zayn is the one who drugged you. He was working with Louis to kill you and get Heidi back.” Jamie explains softly. Her words only make me angrier.


“Well he didn’t do a very good job of killing me!” I growl.

“Well Zayn had an antidote and used it against Heidi in order to get her to be with Louis. Zayn blackmailed her. If she agreed to go with Zayn and back to Louis, Zayn would give the antidote and you would live. She sacrificed herself to save you.” Jamie explains.

Is Heidi crazy?! Louis could kill her! And the next time I see Zayn or Louis, I will not hesitate to kill either of them.

I clench my fist and only notice now I’m still carrying Heidi’s necklace.

Heidi, I will get you back. I promise.

“Shit. I need to get her back. Now.” I say in determination before turning away from them.

Just as I was about to walk away, I heard something. Something so angelic and beautiful and something I missed very much.

“Harry!” I hear her call. Heidi! My eyes snap to in front of me and there I see her. My beautiful girl. With Niall, Jules and….

Zayn.

Oh fuck no.
