My Bully

Christmas

Weeks past and Louis’s birthday came around as well as Christmas eve. We sat around the Christmas tree, giving Louis his birthday presents the very night before christmas. Harry had been invited to the gathering but he didn’t show up, just sent him a text saying happy birthday.
Every time I think of the curly headed boy, my necklace seems to get a little hot. Some nights I can’t sleep so I stay up, contemplating whether or not to text him. I end up just putting my phone down and going to watch t.v until I fall asleep on the couch. Naturally, I get scolded the next day for not waking Liam or Niall up but oh well. I like being alone sometimes without a babysitter.
After the party we all parted ways, leaving me and Liam alone. Niall was going to Ireland to visit family for the holidays and Louis was going to Manchester for the same reason. Liam’s family is coming down tomorrow for a big christmas dinner. We shut the door, yawning. I helped Liam clean up the small mess we had made, washing the dishes despite his protests. After everything was done I took a quick shower and was out like a light.
***************************
I was in a good, deep, peaceful sleep when something was whispered into my ear, waking me up.
“Pst.” was repeated in my ear, followed by little giggles. I groaned, pulling the covers over my head.
“Aw, come one, Nichole! It’s Christmas morning! Get up!” Louis’s little sister said, tugging on my blanket. I laughed, letting her take the covers from me.
“Okay, okay. I’m getting up.” I say, letting her grab my hand and lead me into the living room. I grinned when I saw Louis sitting by Niall, Liam and Zayn.
“I though you guys were all going to see family.” I said, plopping down beside Louis. He grinned at me.
“Well, we thought since it was your first of hopefully tons of Christmas mornings with us that we would stay here for the morning and go later this afternoon.” Zayn said, smiling at me. I grinned back, nodding my head.
“You and the kids are family too, Nichole.” Niall said, smiling sweetly at me. I nodded my head, blinking away a few tears.
“Thank you so much, guys.” I say, hugging each of the boys.
We all opened our presents, laughing and talking. We told old christmas stories that lead to other funny stories. I took tons of pictures of my family, the warmth of their love surrounding me. I stood there for a moment, watching how the react around each other. The boys were all about pulling pranks on each other and making jokes. Louis’s little sister is just adorable, making me fall in love with her the first time we met.
They soon left, bidding good bye’s and Merry Christmases has they left, kissing my cheeks and hugging me. I waved bye and closed the door. The dinner turned out to be a success, Liam’s mum helping me with the cooking before then with the cleaning up afterwards. I don’t think she likes me much but I was polite to her, helping her and using my manners. My first Christmas with my new family seemed a little hollow without my sparrow.
Two months past and two doctor appointments claimed that my babies were indeed healthy and ready to go. Naturally at his words I began to feel nervous. I’m now at seven months and I have two short months left. My mother had come home a month ago but I haven’t spoke to her since she kicked me out. Liam and the boys made me another nusery in a spare bedroom. It was divided right down the middle, creating a beautiful space for my children to be in. I may not be where I thought I was going to be seven months ago but I wouldn’t change anything if I had the chance.
