Through The Dark(Niall Horan)
The baby's due date was getting closer and closer, and I was getting bigger by the second. Alis had been staying with me while Niall finished up a few shows in Australia. I really missed him. I loved Alis but she was really starting to get on my nerves lately. Probably because I was stuck in the house, barely able to see my feet and listening to her whine about the blue in her hair fading.
“Then go fix it!” I finally snapped. “You have all of the money in the world, go to a salon and fix your damn hair. I'm sick of listening to you bitch about it.” I scooted to the edge of the couch and pushed myself up, trying not to tip over.
“What crawled up your ass and died? Jeez...” Alis snapped back, setting the magazine she was reading on the coffee table.
I rolled my eyes, putting my hands on my stomach. “I am about to pop any day now, my boyfriend is in another country and I miss him. So forgive me if I don't feel like listening to complain about your hair, that you could easily go fix.”
“Sorry...” Alis murmured. “Why don't we go figure out what to do for your hair and makeup for the premier in a few days?”
The premier. I totally forgot Niall was dragging me along to some movie premier. “Sure..” I mumbled, walking towards the bathroom. Alis loved doing my hair and makeup, and she was good at it, so what the hell.
Alis pulled a chair in from the room and I sat down. “Do you have any ideas?”
I shrugged. “Caroline got me a white dress, so whatever will work well with the circus tent look.” I joked.
Alis laughed and started playing with my hair, which was now back to it's natural blonde color. I decided not to color it again while I was pregnant, but once it was safe, it was going down. I absolutely loved having purple hair.
When Alis was almost done with my makeup, I screamed. “I didn't even poke you in the eye that time!”
“It's not that!” I screamed again. “It...it's time!” I winced, holding my belly.
“Oh God!” Alis dropped her makeup brush. “Okay, okay um. Lets get you out to the car and I'll get your bags and call Niall on the way.” She helped me up and we started walking to the car. I could tell she was flustered. I started to laugh.
“What's so funny!?” Alis huffed, helping me down the stairs.
“You're shaking worse than me, and I'm suppose to be the one giving birth.” I grinned.
“Well I don't know how to do this! Niall was supposed to be home before this happened!” She was petrified.
“Calm down, Alis.” I laughed. “I was just testing you.”
“You were what?!” Alis screeched, pulling away from me.
“I was testing you.” I shrugged. “I have to make sure the people around me know what to do, incase the baby does come before Niall get's home.”
“That was just fucking mean, Teagan.” Alis pouted, crossing her arms.
“Oh whatever. You passed.” I smiled a bit.
“Still! I was really scared. I didn't know what to do!” Alis whined.
“You knew to get me to the car, grab my bag and call Niall. I think you did just fine.” I shook my head. “Now come on, I'm hungry.”
I felt confident being around Alis, if the baby did come before Niall and the boys were home. Thankfully, she didn't. I however, did prank the rest of the band with Niall. Harry almost killed me when he found out I was joking, oops.
Now, it was time to get ready for this stupid premier. I put on the long white dress Caroline had picked out for me. It dipped down pretty low in the back and had a slit up the leg. It was beautiful, but I still felt huge in it.
“Do I really have to go?” I whined, looking at Niall who was fixing his tie.
“Yes.” Niall smiled. “You look incredible. It won't be that bad, I promise.”
Niall walked over to me and my hands automatically went to his tie, redoing it for him. “You're lucky I love you, or baby and me would be in sweats sitting on the couch watching shitty television.”
Niall laughed and cupped my face, kissing my lips softly, then my nose. “This is the last thing we have before the baby comes. Let's enjoy it.”
“Easy for you to say.” I grumbled before we headed out to the limo waiting for us.
When we arrived to the premier, I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest. There were so many cameras. I was starting to get really nervous and my stomach started to hurt. The baby was kicking like crazy.
“Are you alright?” Louis asked from across the limo.
I nodded. “Yeah, the baby is just kicking a lot. I'll be fine.” I smiled and looked over at Niall before we exited the limo.
We all walked the carpet together, taking pictures and of course, doing a few interviews. I tried to pay attention to the lady asking me about the baby but I couldn't. There was a sharp pain in my stomach and my legs were wet. Did I just piss on the red carpet?
“Oh no.” I mumbled, clutching onto Niall's arm. “It's time!”
“This is not a time to joke around, Teagan.” Louis groaned next to me, not buying it.
“Uh, I don't think she's joking mate.” Zayn pointed to the pool of liquid under me.
“You think!?” I groaned.
“Oh God!” Niall grabbed onto me. “Help me get her to the car! It's baby time!”
Niall put his arm around my waist and Harry snaked his arm around me from the other side. They both helped me back to the car. Alis, Perrie, Zayn, Louis and Liam following us. I leaned my head into Niall.
“It hurts.” I groaned as another contraction hit me.
“I know, love.” Niall kissed my head. “It's going to be alright. Just breathe.”
Once again, easy for him to say. You don't have a small person trying to come out of your lady bits. It wasn't long before we got to the hospital and they got me checked into a room. They wouldn't give me any drugs though, something about it not being good for first time mothers. Quite frankly I didn't care who it was good for, someone was going to give me some drugs.
“Please?” I whined at the doctor.
She shook her head. “It's not in the best interest of the baby, or you. I'm sorry.”
“Then get this baby out of me, for fucks sake!” I groaned, moving around in the bed. I was so uncomfortable.
“It's almost time.” She smiled.
Niall grabbed my hand and kissed it. “It's going to be alright. We're going to meet our baby soon.”
I nodded a bit, realizing he was right. We were about to meet our baby girl for the first time. We had waited so long for her arrival, and it was finally time. I squeezed his hand, through another contraction before the doctor came back in with a few nurses. It was time to start pushing.
I must have pushed for what seemed like days, but was really only about an hour before I heard our baby girls first cries. “Is she okay? Is everything okay?” I sobbed.
Yayy! Baby Horan is here! :)
