Ch 10
Niall’s POV
I couldn’t help but laugh. She was amazing, she was gorgeous, she was cute, she was talented, she was sweet, she was funny, she was everything perfect. But, I think I gave her the wrong impression because she stopped playing and her face got really red.
“You’re----“
“Don’t say it!” she held out a hand and squeezed her eyes shut, like she already knew what I was going to say. But she honestly had no clue. “That was really bad.” She said, and giggled nervously. “I don’t know why I even---“
“I loved it.” I cut her off, and her facial expression changed. “You’re amazing. Like, really REALLY good. I laughed because I couldn’t believe it.” I said and sat down on the bed next to her. “You’re really talented, Hannah. I’m going to be honest, I was not expecting that from you.” I joked to lighten the mood even more.
“Thanks.” She smiled, her cheeks still pink.
But I didn’t know what else to say. Words couldn’t describe… I just.. “Can you play more?” I asked.
“Uh.. yeah.” She looked down. She started to play again and this time I knew the song. It was Adorn by Miguel. She started to sing, but this time she watched my reaction.
Hannah’s POV
“Baby , these lips… can’t wait to taste your skin.” I started to sing, and he smiled really hard. Just that alone gave me some confidence so I started to actually sing to him. I always thought a girl serenading a guy would be cute, and Niall’s reaction was just what I was aiming for. I started the second verse but then he kissed me.
Niall’s POV
I couldn’t take it any longer! She was right for me, there was no hiding it. I needed to make her see I was right for her. I kissed her more passionately than she kissed me the first time. I had her face in my hands and she slowly moved her arms around my neck. After a few seconds without breathing I had to pull back to breathe and so did she. I smiled at her, wanting so bad to have this for more than just a week. I couldn’t bother to think about this trip ever coming to an end.
I never noticed it before but she had freckles, they went all the way across her nose and underneath both of her eyes. She was soooo gorgeous.
We sat there nose to nose just looking into each other’s eyes and then she kissed me. It was shorter than the first but still made my heart beat faster.
I love you. I wanted to tell her so bad, but it was way too early for that. She’d think I was crazy. So, I just kissed her three times to make up for the three lost words.
Hannah’s POV
I love you. I wished I had the courage to say that to him, but he wouldn’t like that. It’s only been what? One night? But for some reason, I felt like he loved me too. After the last three kisses he gave me, he pulled me into his arms again and we laid there in bed again for a few minutes.
“Do you want something else to wear?” he said quietly, not breaking the mood.
“That’d be nice.”
He got up silently and went to his unpacked suitcase. He pulled out a brotank with the print of the American flag on it and tossed it to me. I had to think about it for a second, but then I went into the bathroom and closed the door behind me to change.
Oh shit. I don’t even have a bra. I sighed, but I didn’t want to turn down his offer. I stripped from my bathing suit top and my shorts and just left the bottoms on underneath his shirt. This should be good. I thought to myself. I balled up my clothes and put them in the corner behind the door.
I took a deep breath and then walked out. I saw Niall’s eyebrows raise and he laughed really loud.
