Ch. 6
Niall’s POV
We were outside of her suite. She opened the door.
“Come in. Don’t just stand there and look suspicious.” She laughed and pulled me in by the hand. I couldn’t help but laugh at how awkward I was being, why would I ever need to be? I’m Niall Horan. But to her that obviously meant nothing, she had no clue.
Her room was already a mess. Clothes everywhere, makeup everywhere, and on her bed were her phone, camera, and iPod. “I see you’ve already settled in.” I sneered, and she rolled her eyes and picked up the phone.
“Shhh.” She said as she dialed the room number. “Mom? Hey, I’m just checking in! I’m going out with some friends that I met at the safety regulations thing---- No, they’re girls…” she paused.
“Liar!” I whisper-laughed, and she playfully punched my shoulder.
“I know, mom! Okay. Love you, goodnight.” She set down the phone and turned to me.
“Let’s go.” She smiled and headed out of the door, but then she stopped right in the doorway.
Hannah’s POV
“People said his room is this one!” someone squealed.
“Knock on it. Dude, I dare you!” Another voice said. I heard a few knocks and then they came walking down the hall towards my room giggling.
“Who’s that?” Niall looked out over my shoulder. He was really close behind me; I could almost feel his cheek against mine.
“I have no clue.” I said, they continued coming towards my room.
“Let’s go.” He pushed me gently from behind.
I went out of the door and Niall followed.
“Oh my GOSH!” one of the girls said. She was short and blonde, with long pretty hair and really pretty eyes.
“Hi, Niall!” the other girl practically yelled and went in for a hug. She was really tall but also very pretty and blonde.
He hugged her back and the look on her face was incredulous.
“So, how are Harry, Liam, Zayn, and Louis?” the tall one said, while the short one stood putting her hand through her hair.
“They’re good.” Niall said back, looking absoultely delighted by the attention. After he answered, I noticed the girls started to take sharp glances at me. The short, blonde one looked me up and down in disapproval and the other tried to keep her weird conversation with Niall going. I looked around, a little irritated at the fact that they had put in no effort to include me, and neither had Niall.
“What’s your name?” the short one finally called to me, her eyes challenging.
“Hannah. You?”
“Alexis,”
“And I’m Renee. So, where are you guys headed?”
I looked at Niall, hoping the annoyance showing. “Back to my room.” He spoke.
“Can we come?” Renee smiled, and squinted her eyes at me.
“Actually….” I interrupted. Enough was enough. “4’s a crowd. This is kind of like a date, anyway.” I knew I exaggerated, but maybe not too much.
Niall looked at me, surprised. He shrugged his shoulders as I grabbed his hands to pull him towards his room. “Sorry, ladies.” He smiled and waved as I guided him to his own room. This kind of was a date, wasn't it?
