Ch 28
Niall's POV
I just walked along side of Hannah as we got to the ground floor and searched for Max. We found him in a corner sitting, a short girl who looked familiar sat next to him.
"Where have you guys been?" Max and the girl stood up, they were holding hands.
"We can't leave yet." Hannah said. "Who's this, Max?"
"This is my girlfriend, Ally."
I looked at Hannah and giggled. "Atta boy." I said aloud.
Hannah elbowed me and chuckled.
"Nice to meet you, Ally." Hannah spoke and the girl just smiled.
"Why can't we go?" Max asked.
"We're in trouble right now." Hannah spoke, grabbing my hand.
"Mom found out?" he said, eyebrows raised.
"No! On trouble here on the boat."
"What happened?"
"Nothing." Hannah said. "So, what do you guys want to do?"
"Well, what do you want to do Ally?" Max turned to her. She looked really, really familiar.
"I guess I'll just go tell my sister we aren't going." she spoke, and pushed her blond hair off of her face.
"Who's your sister?" Hannah asked.
"Alexis Carter."
I looked at Hannah, who looked at me. Why did he have to go for HER sister?
"Wait, what's your name?" Ally spoke to Hannah.
"Hannah."
"You're the girl! She always talks about you with Renee. You know Renee, and their friend Red, too?"
"Yeah, I know them."
"Last night, her and Renee came into the room laughing about something that happened. She was talking about you."
"What did she say?"
"She said that your boyfriend got into a fight with their friend Austin."
"Is that all they said?"
"No..." she just stood there holding Max's hand, then she looked at me. "You're Niall."
"Yeah." I affirmed.
"They said that they saw you running into the men's bathroom."
"Let's go back up." I said and we all headed onto the elevator, we went to the lido.
"Where's your sister?" I asked.
"She should be sitting in the buffet area."
We walked around until we saw them. Max hugged Ally and told her he'd see her later.
Hannah's POV
I made eye contact with Alexis as we returned her little sister, she looked pissed to see that she was with us. We walked back Max back to his room and then went back up to ours.
When we got inside of Niall's room, I thought of something.
"So, obviously, they know about what happened last night. But, there's no way I could get them to tell the security. So, you have to do it." I said to him. He didn't understand what I was saying.
"You have to hang out with them and get them to spill what they saw."
"How?" he said.
"You have to act like you like them, I don't know. Use some of that magic." I giggled.

Niall's POV
It was about 7 at night, I walked around the lido on my own.
I saw Alexis and Renee and walked over to them.
"Hey." I said, smiling.
"Hi." they both looked sideways.
"What are you guys up to?"
"Nothing. Where's your hoe?" Alexis said. I paused for a second, counting to five in my head to calm down.
"We're done." I said.
"What?" Renee said.
"You are?" Alexis smiled.
"Yeah, it was too much drama with her. I don't need that." I said with a straight face. That was one of the worst lies I had ever told.
"Oh, well you wanna hang tonight?" Renee smiled.
"Yeah, let's go." I said. In seconds they had their arms around my waist.
"Picture please?" Alexis said.
"Sure."
They snapped a few and then we started to walk.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Back to our room!" Renee said.
They were on the 4th deck, so we had to go down a few floors.
The whole time we were in the elevator and walking to their room they couldn't stop talking about Hannah. They called her so many names I had to bite my tongue to keep from yelling.
"Here." Alexis opened the door. The room was pretty much empty except for a few opened bottles of Vodka and juice.
"Want some?" Renee asked, pouring herself a glass.
"Nah, I'm good." I smiled.
"Come onnnnnnnn." Alexis said, grabbing my hand.
"Not tonight." I kept smiling. "So, what do you girls usually do at night?" I asked.
"Drink. Party." Renee said and sipped her glass.
"Drink." Alexis giggled.
"What'd you do last night?"
"Got drunk." Alexis went over and poured her cup.
"By yourselves? That's no fun." I said, working my way to the subject. "I drank last night too, but not on my own." I sat down on the nearby couch bed.
"No, we didn't drink alone. We were with Chord, Tyler, Tom, Austin, and the rest of the gang. But, we've got to do it together sometime." Alexis came over and sat down on my lap. She smelled like straight up weed.
"Ha, yeah." I shifted uncomfortably. "So, did you guys hear what happened last night?"
"Yeah, you and Austin's fight? He came back and told us. He said he fucked up with that bitch, Hannah, and then you came out of nowhere and tried to beat him up."
"That's totally not what happened." I lied. "Tonight might be my last night on here."
"Why?" Renee whined and then sat down next to us.
"Because he told the police that I just randomly beat him up when I actually was running into the bathroom to throw up. Drank too damn much." I laughed. "I didn't even see Hannah in the bathroom. I walked in and he like attacked me. He was pissed about Hannah and me, but I couldn't just let him beat me up, you know?" I looked into their eyes to convince them.
"Yeah." Alexis said.
"Totally!" Renee said.
"So, that's why I punched him. But other than that, I don't know about the rest of the story. But if no one else goes and tells the police that his story isn't true I'm off the boat tonight. In a few hours actually."
"Oh, no." Renee said.
"We'll tell them what actually happened!" Alexis looked at me, her face too close to mine.
"Would you really do that for me?" I said.
"Yeah, of course. I'd do anything for you." Alexis said still looking at me. I just watched her eyes that kept glancing down at my lips.
"Well, could you do it now? I don't really want to leave."
"Yeah, we can but can we stay here for five more minutes." She got up from my lap and then pushed me back onto the bed. Next thing I knew, she was on top of me kissing me. It didn't feel right at all. Renee looked at us and laughed, I saw her walk behind Alexis and pull out her phone. I couldn't tell if she was taking a picture or not so I tried to get up, but Alexis wasn't done. She reached to pull up my shirt but I pulled it back down.
"Later." I said, and stood back up. I felt so guilty for what just happened, but I knew Hannah would understand.
We walked to the customer service and asked to see security. When they came I told them I'd be right back and that I needed to go to the bathroom. I ran to the elevator and pressed the 11 button. I ran to Hannah's room and banged on the door.
"Come on, we gotta go now!"
"I'm coming!" I heard her say. "Let's go guys."
Max, Ally, and Hannah came out of the room and then we all hurried down to the customer service, but before they could see any of us I told them to wait for me to give them the cue.
"Sorry about that." I walked back over to the girls and security.
"They're here to tell what they saw."
"Yeah, we saw Niall going to the bathroom!" Alexis said.
"And you heard them fighting? Or you saw?" one of the security men asked.
"Yes!" Alexis said.
"And you saw Austin initially interrogating Hannah Swane?"
"What? No!" Renee lied.
I subtly look over at Max, Ally, and Hannah. I nodded at Ally to come.
"No, remember last night you guys came in the room talking about Austin being so wasted that he took Hannah into the bathroom?" Ally spoke once she got to us. Alexis and Renee looked over sharply at her.
"Who is this?" The security asked.
"My little sister. She has no clue what she's talking about."
"No, I heard you guys talking about it and how you saw Niall running to the bathroom." She kept spilling. The security looked at Alexis and Renee and spoke, "If you aren't telling the truth, you and your family could be removed from the boat."
"Is it true that you saw this young man running to the bathroom?" security asked.
They nodded.
"But we didn't see anything happen to Hannah!"
"Stop lying!" Ally said. Then I nodded to Hannah and Max to come forward.
Ally told the police what she had heard them say the night before and it matched up completely right with our own story.
Things were looking good until Hannah and Max came by my side.
