Cutting and Suicide
Addressed mainly to authors that choose to write on these topics. Cutting and suicide are extremely touchy subjects, so make sure you know exactly what you're writing about. Don't just make that characteristic or event because you think it's "cool" or you think "everyone does it". No. These topics have affected many people, and if you aren't going to take it seriously, do NOT write about it.
Girls, and possible boys, I can't imagine anyone wanting to put their lives at risk by cutting or trying to commit. Please, don't do these things to yourselves. You are young, you are beautiful, you have your whole life ahead of you. You may think your life is bad now, and I can't promise you things will get better. However, if you keep doing things like this, I can promise you that nothing will get better. You aren't accomplishing anything by putting your lives at risk. Embrace who you are, and if people are judging you, who gives a fuck?
