Linking Words
Dandelion.
So, I got a question on how to put a tag on an object. Her example being when people write "I live in this house" and the word house is a link to what their house looks like if you click on it instead of just the plain link. I would just like to say: I really don't recommend this because having to click the link and go back to the story is just as annoying as pictures, especially when it's every other word. However, for those who do it anyways here's how:
Take my dandelion link (above) for example. All you have to do is type out the word or phrase you are writing. Then highlight the word with your mouse. Click the icon in your content toolbar that is between the mountains and straight line that looks like a "link". Choose "insert link". Either type in the URL or just copy and paste the URL. Your text should already be in the "text" box. You can choose to have the link open up in a new tab, but it isn't required. Click insert. Your words in what you type will show up in blue, but once you hit submit, they will turn purple or red depending on which website you're on.
Don't be that person who links a word or phrase every other word. It's annoying as fuck, and no one appreciates it.
