Looking back through the comments, it has been about 4 months since the last review I did for you, and I am so happy that you decided to come back and ask for another. My gosh has your writing flourished since then! And I’m not saying that your last story was terrible (because, trust me, it wasn’t).
Your grammar has improved well since the last review. In the other story, I had been catching minor errors here and there with a few bigger errors in dialogue. Now, you have minimal to no errors, and I’m happy to find that your dialogue has improved since then.
I don’t think I’ve read such an original plot in a while. So let’s see if I have this right… girl met boy, boy left girl, boy goes off to tour the world, girl becomes a doctor, girl gets married, a series of misfortunate events later and she gets divorced, boy gets shot, boy goes to hospital, and girl is his doctor… by fate. Then, as readers we try to find out if their relationship will rekindle and if sparks will fly for them again. And yeah, I’m loving it.
There are parts the build off of that basic plot that are kind of iffy. Although Harry is a well-known celebrity, he kind of got shot. They wouldn’t actually let him go, especially with a shattered rib and the fact that he recently got out of surgery and he’s probably on a lot of pain meds. Even if they did, they certainly wouldn’t let him drive out on his own and allow him to be up and about doing things. He definitely shouldn’t be drinking either.
I also think that Louis and Harry both sound like (pardon my French) assholes, but hey, you can’t agree with everything you read. I think it really goes with the story though, so that’s a good thing.
Overall, I really like Fate so far. It is truly one of the more original stories (as in never been done before, not an really good interpretation of something that’s already been written before but like actually original and well though up) I’ve read in a while. Subscribed and can’t wait to read more.
If you find your review to be disappointing, I cannot honestly tell you that I’m sorry. Do not let what I say in any way discourage you from writing or anything for that matter. I am just one person with strongly opinionated views on everything. If I made it clear that I strongly dislike your story, do not think that other people won’t enjoy it. There are many other readers with different views than me who will find interest in your story where I may not have. I hope you do take something out of this and improve on and continue your writing, but if you don’t, that’s fine too.
