Chapter 10
Louis p.o.v
I can’t believe I let it slide that easily, I do feel like a huge weight has been lifted but I can’t help but think back to when I was in that place I can’t believe it was Niall, I never found out his name because he never got around to telling me and whenever I tried to tell him mine I was always took away i was one of their main experiments because apparently I wasn’t afraid of them compare to everyone else who feared them and I constantly was annoying them and trying to escape hell I even broke one of their arms in my defence that dick shouldn’t have grabbed my tail.
I was sitting on the edge of the bed whilst Niall was asleep in his it turns out Niall did have a headache from when he was slammed into the wall but he was being nosey and wanted me to give him answers about why they called me experiment 4509, but I on the other hand can’t sleep I’m too worried I was hoping they wouldn’t recognize me but I was wrong they know who I am and it’s so easy for them to get us I mean they can easily find out where we are and I mean if fans can find out where we are and catch us alone they will defiantly know I mean we got lucky today because Harry came at the right time but next time he will get knocked out or held back by guards whilst me and Niall are took off for experiments and tests.
I got up off of my bed and I quickly chucked on a top and a beanie as I already had a pair of sweats on and a pair of shoes and I walked out of my room and walked down the corridor where I ran into someone I started to panic and tried to hurry to my feet.
“Louis?” thank god it was just Liam.
“Liam, what are you doing running into people?” I asked.
“I didn’t mean to you idiot I was just coming to check up on you and Niall he didn’t look well when we left.” Liam said.
“he’s fine he said he had a small headache and he wanted to sleep so he is sleeping he has actually been a sleep for an hour but I couldn’t sleep so I decided to go for a midnight walk” I said.
“don’t leave him alone who knows what will happen someone could take him and what happens if he finds out you’re not there he will freak out thinking someone took you” Liam said.
“he knows I go out for late night walks” I said.
“anyway why couldn’t you sleep?” he asked.
“I have a lot going on and I’m stressed it’s impossible to sleep” I said.
“why are you stressed?” he asked.
“it’s nothing I swear” I said.
“is it fans? El? Or is it family?” he said.
“none it’s nothing” I said.
“where were you going then?” he asked.
“wherever my feet take me I don’t care right now” I said.
“Louis don’t do that you might end up lost” he said.
“but I need to just…. I don’t know I just need to go out on my own to think I just need my mind to wonder and just step back from this” I said.
“I know what you mean, just be careful ok do not get lost!” he said I laughed.
“hey I never get lost I simply go on an never ending adventure” I said walking away and he laughed.
“your life is an adventure you don’t need to have another one, everything is an adventure if you make it to be” he said I smiled and pressed the button on the lift.
“shit!” I mumbled he is going to check on Niall and when I left his ears were on show I quickly sprinted down the corridor reaching the door just before Liam was going to walk in where I shut it.
“what the Louis!” he shouted.
“I’m not going on an adventure anymore one of my best friends needs me and I’m not leaving him you can go back to your room I’ll check on him I’ll text you if he is fine or not” I said.
“I’m already here though” he said I quickly got out my phone and texted Niall and soon enough I heard shuffling in the room and I opened the door up and let Liam walk in where Niall was fake sleeping.
“I told you he was alright” I said I sat down on my bed sitting on my tail causing me to yelp in pain Liam noticed and looked at me weird.
“what’s wrong Lou?” he asked.
“um I hit my toe off of the base of the bed” I said.
“what are you doing here Liam?” Niall asked wrapped in his quilt. I mouthed to him ‘have you hid your tail’ and he mouthed back ‘ no that’s why I’m wrapped up in the quilt’
“you know I think Harry might have been right about us all being in the same room” Liam said.
“well he is right and wrong for one it would be too crowded “ I said.
Tomorrow night we will all be in one room and Lou don’t forget to take your beanie off before bed” he said.
“alright will do now I’m going to bed” I said.
“well goodnight” he said walking out.
“night” Niall and I said.
“ I had a nightmare again” Niall said.
“are you ok?” I asked
“kind of but these dreams they feel so real and I’m scared they seem like they could happen and I’m not sure if it’s my conscious telling me to tell the boys about what I am so that when the time comes when I get took away they will know” he said.
“you’re not going back i won’t let them Ni, I’ll make sure I get took back instead I’m not afraid of them I mean when I was in there I was an idiot” I said.
“how were you an idiot?” he asked.
“well for one I broke a guards arm, I was constantly fighting them and getting punished in return i always tried to be a smart arse and show them I wasn’t afraid but what I should have done was be quiet and I wouldn’t have got hurt I mean I always showed I wasn’t afraid and I wasn’t and I laughed after every punishment I mean who does that I was an idiot for laughing as they would often beat me until I was barely alive once I was so close to death but some idiot decided to make me healthy again just so they could beat me for almost dying.
“at least you didn’t show them that you were scared.” Niall said
“come on we need to sleep” I said and we both drifted off to sleep in our room, the next morning we were awoke by the boys prodding our faces.
“fuck off” I mumbled.
“no wake up” I tried to focus on the voice but I couldn’t register who it was.
“who the fuck are you and if you fucking touch my skin again I will punch you in the stomach” I threatened.
“seriously you don’t recognise my voice you’re an idiot” he said.
“Harry fuck off now” this time my brain registered who it was.
“Niall is downstairs eating but your still asleep and we are all going out so hurry up and move your lazy arse” he said I opened my eyes and was instantly blinded by the light coming through the window “ move your head to the right just a little” he looked confused and did it anyway “ you just blocked the rays with you big head” I laughed and he chucked a pillow on my head making me wince at the pain when it hit my ears.
“ok that couldn’t have hurt” Harry said.
“I’m half asleep the littlest pain becomes the biggest” I said.
