At First Bite ****UNDER CONSTRUCTION*****

Harry POV

No. No. No. He's got her. I immediately ran for the house as fast as I could. I barged thru the door. I heard her heart beating. Well it was faint but still beating. It was coming from the basement. I grabbed the handle. It burned like hell! My hand started sizzling I drew it back immediately.

"Vervain?" I questioned.

I ran upstairs grabbed a pair of gloves that are for picking up vervain and ran back down stairs. I opened the basement door the smell of blood hit my nose. I tried to keep in control. I ran down the stairs tripping over a body.

"Hannah?!?!" I said shocked I went down to her she was unconscious and she neck was snapped. She'll heal. I thought and looked for Cassidy. Across the room was a bed with a body on it. It was her. She had a head wound and from what I could see unconscious.

I ran over to help her.

"Calm down all I did was hit her in the head with a bat humans do it all the time." Niall said. I saw him leaning against a wall on the other side of the room.

"Niall get out or I'm gonna kill you." I said trying keep my one ounce of control. The smell of blood seeped back into my mouth making it water like crazy.

"
"Gosh, he's overreacting it's just a girl!" Niall muttered.
"Really Niall some of us actually want to fit in with humans!" She slapped his arm.
"Still I could of had a meal instead of him barging in and stealing her! That's the second time this week!" I growled how dare he call her food! I glanced over at Cassidy just in time to see her eyes flutter open. "Whoa, where am I?" She asked looking around.
"Your in my room, love." I told her.
"Oh, how did I get here again?" She asked still confused.
"Well love you and Hannah were hanging out then she started having a panic attack and Niall accidentally hit your head really hard coming to help her." I heard a grunt and a laugh down stairs. "So they brought you back here so you could rest."
She finally relaxed "Well that was nice of him!" Except he was going to eat you.
"Yea I suppose it was." I muttered. "Would you like me to drive you home schools almost over?" She jumped in surprise.
"It is? Oh well then...yes." She said.

Cassidy POV
We were driving in his car I wished he didn't know where my house was. I was in for it big time. He turned left onto a back road.
"Um this isn't the way back to my house you know?" I asked him.
"Well something tells me you don't want to go home. And if your dad thinks your in school why not make the best of it, eh!" He said chuckling.
"Well I guess so how long are we staying and where are we going it looks like a cornfield here!" We were going though a patch of long grass.
"If I tell you it wouldn't be a surprise would it?" He looked over at me.
"Who said this was a surprise?" I hate surprises!
"I just did." He laughed as I groaned. He parked the car in the middle of nowhere.
"Are you going to murder me!?!" I joked. "What are we doing here?" He just smiled.
"Having a picnic love." He got out and took my hand. "Just not here we have to walk the rest of the way there."
"Great so I'm far away from the car alone with you and were going on a picnic." I pretended to think. "I think this might end on a good note." I laughed as he picked me up to carry me over a stream. "You might as well have brought a sword just I case I get attacked by a mosquito! Oh no!" I pretended to faint. He caught me, well he lifted me up bridle style.
"We're here love."
I hadn't noticed how far we had gotten. We were at least 50 feet in the air by the bank of a water fall. "Wow, it's beautiful up here!!!" I jumped out of his arms.
"Wow..." It was all I could say.

***2 HOURS LATER***

"This was amazing thank you, Harry I had a wonderful day with you." I said pecking him on the lips well cheek and half lips. He was laughing again.
"I did too." He laughed some more. "Mostly when your hair blew into my mouth just a second ago." I was on his back with my head on his shoulder walking back to the car.
"Honestly Harry!!! I taste that good!!!" He paused for a second. Then swung me off his back and back me into a tree.
"Yes you do!" He told me then crashed his lips onto mine. They moved together in perfect harmony. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we stayed like like till I needed a breath.
"Mmm...I was right you do." He pecked me on the lips and turned to keep walking back to the car. I grabbed his wrist.
"Wait, can't we do that again?" I begged.
"If you want your dad to shoot me sure we can!!!" He joked picking me up and swinging me over his shoulder and walking down the rest of the hill.
"Aww..." I pouted. "No fun!!!" I playfully hit his back as he swung me into the passenger seat.
"Nope no fun." He said as he pressed his lips on mine I went to keep him there but he pulled back all to soon.
"No time for that love!" He tapped my nose with his index finger and shut the door. He ran over to his side and got in he drove very fast and skillfully out of the field. We sat in the car talking about ways I could lie out of trouble. A few minutes later I was home I said goodbye and ran inside before he could come with me. I slammed the door shut.
"Welcome Home Cassidy!" Paige greeted me with a hug I stood shocked and still didn't hug her back she got the point and drew back. She put her hands on my straight arms. I saw my dad standing by the closet.
"It's time sweetheart!" Paige squealed.
"For what?" I asked.
"Come on!" She ran over to my dad he open the closet, or shall I say stairwell.
"Whoa, how long has that been there?" I asked before Paige pushed me along.
"Ok, time for you to find out your family's history, it started way back when we first sailed to this land. There were dangers we knew that but we didn't know what else there was." She stopped at a door. My dad handed me a stick.
"That is a weapon don't play around with it got it?" He said sternly I nodded. He opened the door the sight in front of me was horrible. A guy with ropes around his wrist and ankles was wrapped to a post I front of me I almost screamed bloody murder at the sight, but stopped when he looked up at me.
"Please, young lady help me!" He called to me.
"Shut up!" Paige ordered but he continued to beg.
She pulled a lever down and he started shaking uncontrollably.
They were electrocuting him!
"Stop!!!" I yelled and went to help.
"No." My dad grabbed me.
"Stop it you'll kill him, please dad stop!!!" I thrashed in his arms but it was no use.
"Calm down Cassidy!" Paige ordered as she shut it of his body went limp and I thought he was dead. I choked on my tears.
"He's a monster Cassidy watch." She grabbed something out of a bag and shoved it under his face. He immediately began to struggle to get free. I realized it was a blood bag.
"Please, just a taste, please!!!!" He begged her. The real terror was when the veins started crawling down his face. I screamed.
"WHATS WRONG WITH HIM?" I cried.
"Nothing he's a vampire Cassidy we caught him a few nights ago...feeding." She told me calmly. "FEEDING!?!? WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY FEEDING?"
"I mean by drinking the blood out of a hiker." She sounded like a teacher who just explained something again and again.
"Why?" I was trying to calm down.
"For you of course." She explained.
"What am I supposed to do?" I asked.
"Well, your supposed to drive the stake through his heart to kill him." My heart raced again.
"What??!? You want me to kill him with a stick!?!?? Or even kill him at all I can't do it Paige I just can't!" I cried.
"Cassidy what do you think killed your mother?" My dad asked. Then I fell to the floor crying.
"WAIT, HE KILLED HER!?!?" I balled.
"No, not him exactly but a vampire did." So looked up at the guy again instead of pity for him I felt rage and lots of it.


"So,you want me to kill him?" I said. "With this?"
