At First Bite ****UNDER CONSTRUCTION*****

Cassidy POV

I woke up today and suddenly everything was different. I felt different, better actually despite the fact that I got into a fight with Melody last night. I got out of bed and went down stairs. Paige and my dad were there arguing. I caught a few words on my way down

"She's not ready....I know but if....later please Austin." It was said in whispers and I couldn't make out the rest if the words or who they belong to, I wasn't going to let it ruin my spirits. Today was finally the day I felt like I belonged here.

"Hey guys!" I interrupted them. They jumped in surprise at my sudden appearance.

"Hey girly." Paige trying to act like she was having a peaceful conversation with my father I saw right thru her lie, but I let it pass. I saw coffee was already made so I poured myself a cup.

"You shouldn't drink that it's bad for your health" my dad told me.

"Yeah, you can be the one to tell me what's right and wrong." I spat at him. Honestly ever since my mom died we've had the worst relationship ever.

"Maybe if you'd listen for once I'd let you take responsibility in this house." He mumbled his voice a little. "And not use the excuse of "getting coffee" to sneak off with a irresponsible boy!" I was furious at that last remark.

"What do you want me to do? Act like everything is fine." I started shouting. "WELL NEWS FLASH DAD! MOM. IS. DEAD. AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!" I was crying now I never had the nerve to say that in the last 9 months that she's been dead. I fled for the stairs leaving a shocked Paige and a furious father at the table. I ran to my room thru on a t-shirt and jeans, grabbed a brush and my bag. I jumped out of my window it wasn't a far jump down. My mom and dad fought over whether I should be put in karate or gymnastics and it turned out I was in both so I front flipped and landed on my feet perfectly and ran for the school since my car was in the shop.

***Quick Flashback***

I sat on the couch playing video games with Anna and my boy friend Max. My mom and dad ran down the stairs looking really scared. They looked down at me and Annabella and said...

"Do Not Invite Anyone In! Even If Someone's Life Is In Danger. Do Not Leave This House! You Got It!" We nodded really fast.

"What's wrong momma?" Anna asked her.

Mom gave her a reassuring look that meant 'nothing' and waved at me to come talk with her. I slowly got up as she walked away.

"W-what's going on mom?" I asked once we were out of hearing range.

"Your dad and I got some people really mad and we need to set things straight." She said smiling.

She gave me a final reassuring look and kissed my cheek and last on my forehead. "I Love You." She told me. She hugged me. She let go and we walked back to the front door. My dad was in the car she walked out and closed the door I sat down not realizing that was the last time I would see her again.

***End of Flashback***

Harry POV

I was in the forest hunting with Hannah by my side we ran through the woods at "our" normal pace in silence. Until she interrupted it.

"So what did you do yesterday that had you all silent and stuff?" She asked.

"Nothing really the norms." I lied shrugging to make it more real. She could always see through me though.

"Normal as in this normal or normal normal?" She asked.

"I don't know... Why you asking?" I tried playing it that way.

"Well you looked pretty I don't know happy?" She told me.

"Oh it's a rime for me to be happy" I said with a smirk. I caught the scent of a herd of deer and took off in that direction. I caught mine with ease it was a young buck. I fed from it and let it run off since bigger animals heal quicker. Hannah killed her young fawn in her quest to for fill her thirst.

"Can you keep your mouth shut?" I asked

"of course." She said Interested.

"Well, you know those hunters that have been snooping around lately?" I said slowly.

"Oh my god! Harry, did you drink human blood!? And get caught!?" She asked afraid

"No! I met a girl yesterday. She was different almost like S-" I stopped at her name but she got who I was talking about. "I dropped her off at her house and saw the huntress in the living room. I'm pretty sure he's a hunter too."

"What!?!??!" She said. "Oh My God Harry he'll or she'll kill you!?!??! Break her human heart before she puts a stake in yours!!!" She shouted at me.

"No!! Out of all people Hannah you should get it!! She makes me forget what I am!!! She's different she doesn't know anything she's still grieving over her mother death she's lost!!! Out all people Hannah you should understand!!" I argued. "She not one of them!! She's still pure and innocent!" Hannah looked right at me in the eyes.

"you're an idiot Harry, You'll. Kill. Her!" She was furious now. "Just. Like. You. Killed. Sophie." She slapped me and ran to school.
