Cassidy POV

I'm standing outside the door to my room. It's dark in the house except for the faint glow of the porch light seeping in through the window beside the front door. I walk down the stairs to the kitchen, something whizzes past me and I fall down the stairs with a bang. I listen for moment and I'm shocked no one woke up. I get up and walk into the kitchen. I look at the time. WOW it's 1:00 AM!
My dad and Paige should be home by now. I shrug and go to walk upstairs. I hear the TV in the other room. Gosh I told Anna to turn it off. I walk into the living room to shut it off. The news is on. That's weird Annabella was the last one to watch it. I reach for the remote and go to press the power button.
"Breaking News! There Was Another Animal Attack In Gollowbrooke." The news guy said. Oh it's probably just the woman.
That I killed.
"She Was Found In Her Backyard Drained Of Blood." What? How'd she get there?
"Hunting Parties Have Left In Seach Of The Beast That Killed Poor Cassidy Miller." What?!?!?! I'm right here alive!
Then they showed a picture of the girl it was me.
But how I'm right here!?!?!? I step back and spin on my heel. As I begin to run two large hands spin me around. I am met with the head of curly hair I've grown used to.
Harry.
Except his eyes are red and their are veins below them also he has fangs protruding from his gums.
That's the last I see before he rips into my neck with his fangs.

I awake with a start, my heart pounding and covered in sweat.
