Cassidy POV

I immediately jerked my stake into the direction of his heart. I knew I'd miss but I had to try. He grabbed my wrist and twisted it. It hurt like hell! I dropped the stake. He swipe it before it hit the ground, dropping my wrist. I started rubbing it.
"Interesting job, vampire hunting, is it?" He turned his back towards me.
I nodded.
"Quite dangerous right?" He went on.
"I guess or I would be here." I said standing up.
"Who said you could talk!" He shouted appearing in front of me.
"Well! No one told me not, too!" I shouted back.
Then.
He.
Fucking.
Slapped.
Me.
"Well good now we can test something," he grabbed my face. "Don't Speak." He commanded looking deep into my eyes.
I raised my hand and slapped him. He didn't even flinch
"DO YOU THINK YOU COULD HAVE COMPELLED ME?" I shouted.
"Nope, now I'm on plan B." He stated grabbing my arm and dragging me over to the back wall to hoops were nailed to the wall. He pushed my arms up and placed shackles over them so I was standing with my arms out.
"W-what are you doing?" I asked shakily.
"Well, sweetheart I don't want you to fight, then me lose control and rip your head off." He said calmly.

His phone started playing Gas Pedal. He sighed then answered his phone.
"Hey Liam! What's up?" He asked the phone.
He listened for a few seconds then answered.
"Aww, actually I'm a little busy right now." He said. I opened my mouth to scream, but his hand covered it quickly
"Alright Liam, bye." He hung up, just as I bit into his hand.
"Did you just...bite me?" He asked removing his hand from my face.
I nodded.
"Okay." He shrugged. "Now, my turn."
His went red and veins seeped down his face and he sunk his fangs into my neck. I felt a few drops of blood leave my body before he pulled his fangs out of my neck.

Niall POV

She tasted delightful, until the vervain collided with the blood and my throat burned from the contact with it. It's like a tranquilizer, but for vampires. I dropped to the ground choking. I knew it was going to happen I just didn't expect her to taste so good. I coughed out the remaining vervain-blood.
"Guess I'll just bleed the vervain from your body." I pulled myself off the floor and grabbed took out and IV thingy and an empty blood bag from my pocket. She flinched as I pushed the IV into her arm and it started to drip into the bag. I grabbed a chair and pulled it over to sit near her.
"H-Harry is he..." She trailed off not meeting my eyes.
I decided to lie in case this doesn't work.
"No. I was recently turned," I lied. "He has no idea about me."
She looked relived, I felt a pang of jealously but pushed it back.
"I've fed off him before." I pushed the lie further.
She gasped and struggled a bit.
"You know, I just fed, but now that vervain is in my body I'm a little hungry." She yanked her arm not really listening. "I think Harry's sleeping maybe I can wake him up for a little midnight snack."
Her eyes widened and I knew she had bought it.
The blood bag was full so I took it off and unlocked the shackles. She would've dropped to the ground if I hadn't caught her weak body.
"Umm....Let's test this," I helped her stand. I looked into her eyes. She began to have a distinct look in her eyes and I knew she was being compelled.
"The vampire who took you bit you, but ingested the vervain and was weakened. You staked it and ran. I saw you on the road, picked you up and drove you home." I compelled her. Then
I grabbed her and ran to her house at vampire speed. I took her out of compulsion.

Cassidy POV

I invited Niall inside he came in, but then started to leave saying he had to go home since it was 1 AM. I shut the down and ran upstairs to my room I looked into the mirror and saw the blood covering my shirt. Shit. What was Niall thinking I did? He probably didn't even notice. I reassured myself. I hopped into the shower trying to remember something about the vampire the attacked me. I came up blank.
