I take a deep breath and look down as I sit in the bench. I grab a book from my bag start to read.
a few minutes later, I heard a voice called my namel. "Lucy!" I turned around to see who's calling my name. I smiled when i saw Nichole. She waved her hand.

"huhh.." she exhaled in front of me. She was running. I just chuckled. and then she sat down next to me. she look at me . "I saw Jake." smile on my lips disappeared when she said his name.

"and?" I asked hesitantly.

"He asked where are you," she looked down, and played with her thumb.

still looked down she continued, "I told him that I don't know where are you and.. he looked so angry. i'm so scared." she took a deep breath and shook her head. "what happened with you and him? tell me, for this time please. i'm begging you." she take my hands and bring to her lap.

I don't know what to say. I closed my eyes, and start to speak. "we broke up." silence. I open my eyes and look at her.

"WHAT?!" her eyes widened. "How can? why didn't you tell me?" she held my shoulders..

"I'm sorry. its complicated." I looked down. silent. i hate silent.

"There's something thay you're not telling me?" she squeezed my hand. what should I do now? I don't know. should I tell her? but she's my best friend.
