Jennifer's PoV
I hummed to myself while driving home. I had been out all day running errands for about 50 different friends (alright maybe 50 is exaggerating a little) and I couldnt wait to get home. Roar by Katy Perry started playing (my ringtone) as my phone went off. It was hooked up to the car so I answered. It was Perrie.

"Hey Jen how are ya," she asked me.

"Exhausted! Why can't people do things for themselves, why do they make me do them." I whined. I heard her laugh through the phone.

"I'm just letting you know that Zayn and I are going on a double date tonight with Louis and Eleanor." I nodded my head, then remembered she couldn't see me.

"Yea sure, Liam and Harry are going out aswell."

"Ohh so it'll just be you and Niall then," I could practically see her wriggling her eyebrows. Niall and I had been best friend for years. While the boys were in between tours I was living in a huge house with Eleanor Perrie and the boys. During this time I had developed feelings for Niall. Since I am not Einstein when it comes to keeping my feelings hidden the others all figure it out pretty quickly. Except Niall. He is as clueless as ever.

I sighed. "Yes Perrie just me and Niall. Alone. Go on, make some inappropriate joke whatever I don't care." I huffed.

"Naww babe you know I love you. I just don't see why you won't tell Niall how you feel." I rolled my eyes.
"Like I have told you at least a hundred times before there is no way in hell he feels the same way. And I'll get over him, I just need time." I heard her take a deep breath over the phone.

"Fine, whatever you say. Have fun then. Bye sweetie."

"Bye love," she hung up. I laughed as Change My Mind came on the radio.

As I walked through the front door I heard a crash followed by Niall screaming out 'shit'. I closed the door and headed towards the kitchen.

"Jennifer is that you?" He called out.

"Yeah it's me, what was that--" my eyes widened as I entered the kitchen and saw Niall standing in enough pasta to feed an army. And from the looks of it it it was way over cooked. "Holy crap Niall what did you do?" He looked guiltily at the floor.

"Well....." He started. "I was making pasta coz that's about the only thing I know how to make. Then I realised I was way overlooking it and it was going all mushy so I went to move it--" He explained with that guilty look on his face. God he looked so cute. Jennifer! I scolded myself. Now is definitely not the time to go off into Niall lala land.
I looked at him. Waiting for him to continue.

"--With no gloves." I couldn't help it. I burst out laughing to the point where I was clutching my stomach. Niall furrowed his eyebrows and crossed his arms.

"That's not very nice," he tryed to be serious....and failed. He rolled his eyes and started smiling. Soon enough we were both having laughing fits. Eventually we both calmed down.

"Oh Niall sweetie why the hell would you try to move a large metal pot that has been sitting on the stove for ages with no gloves? What did you think would happen." He shrugged his shoulders.

"I dunno," I rolled my eyes at his oh so classy answer.

"Let's clean this all up and then we'll make something that isn't pasta because that pale mushy mess your standing in has really put me of having pasta tonight." He laughed. He had a beautiful laugh, it sounded like a million babies smiling for the first time....... JEN! I snapped out of Niall lala land and brought the bin near us and started scooping mushy pasta into it with a bowl. Niall started at me like I had 4 noses.

"What are you doing," he asked,

"Cleaning up your mess," I replied. He chuckled.

"I mean with the bowl. Use your hands it's much quicker. I watched as he used his two hands and chucked a lump of pasta into the bin. Left behind on his hands were little mushed up watery bits.

"Ewwww Niall that is so gross!" I squealed.

"Common Jennifer, in comparison it's not that bad." He said with a devilish grin.

"In comparison to what," I said, scared to hear the answer. He smirked and threw a handful of pasta mush into my face and hair.

"NIALL FUCKING HORAN YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT YOU IRISH DEVIL!!! MY HAIR TAKES FOREVER TO MAKE IT LOOK THIS GOOD!" As if to articulate my point I shook my blonde hair in his direction. He just sat there laughing. I grabbed a handful of the pasta. Oh. My. God. This was the most disgusting thing I had ever felt. How long had he been cooking this pasta for? 3 days!? Seriously it's gross! I threw the pasta straight into his face. He froze. Then he reached up onto the bench and grabbed a tomato.

"No no no no nooo!" I tried to back away but Niall threw the tomato at my head! I squealed like a complete girl. "Ewwww Niall." We continued the food fight for about 10 minutes until there was more food on us then there was on the bench.

"Alright I feel so so gross can we please call it a truce." I pleaded.

"Hmmm. Let me think about that" Niall pretended to be deep in thought. "Yea ok. Good game Jennifer, good game." He smiled. I started to walk over to him but slipped on the food. I saw myself about to hit the cold hard tiles. This was going to hurt. Before I felt the impact two strong arms caught me. I looked up to see that Niall had managed to catch me only a few inches from the floor.

"Thanks," I smiled. He lifted me upright, but didnt let go. I suddenly became aware of how close we were, our lips were mere inches apart. I looked into his beautiful baby blue eyes and noticed he was looking at my lips. Slowly, he leaned in and his lips met mine. The kiss was soft and passionate. Our lips moved in sinc before we broke apart.

"I love you Jennifer," my breath caught. Did Niall just tell me he loved me? As in more then a friend love? "Will you be my girlfriend, please" he never broke eye contact. I felt my mouth split into a grin.

"Of course I will! I love you Niall." His mouth broke into the biggest grin I had ever seen. He picked me up and spun me around, causing me to laugh. When he put me back on the ground he kissed me again.

"My god its about time," I pulled away from Niall to see everyone else piling into the room smiling like idiots."You guys have liked each other for ages! I can't believe that all it took was one food fight to get you guys together. We should have thought of that." Perrie shook her head.

"Aren't you all meant to be out? It's only like 7:30." I asked confused. Then I noticed they were all wearing sweats. "Oh my god! You guys never went out! How long have your been watching for!" They all grinned like masterminds.

"Since you walking in the door ofcourse, we didnt want to miss anything." My mouth dropped. Niall and I looked at eachother, then I had an idea, and I knew Niall was thinking the same thing. In a flash we each threw about 5 handfuls of food at them and sprinted of to the bathroom laughing like total idiots. Niall looked at me.
"I love you so much Jenn,"
"I love you too Niall."

........first of all I am SO SORRY it took me so long to update. It's been like close to a month. Sheesh.

But here it is, I hope it's good and was worth the wait

so, if you read my previous post I have found a co-author :D yay! From now on we will each be writing half so hopefully you guys don't have to wait so long for the updates. I'm about to add her as an author to the story, eek I'm excited.
