Chapter 7
Cassandra's P.O.V
Oh my god. I'm kissing Niall Horan. Oh gosh. I need to stop! I need to stop right now! But this feels so nice and it's so- NO! I pulled away from the kiss and took a step backwards. I've got to get away. I kept shaking my head and stepping backwards. I can't do this! I've got to get away now! I turned around and ran away as fast as I could. I ran all the way to the forest. To my favourite, secluded place. The place I used to go to when I was 4 years old.
Niall's P.O.V
I stared at the door, in shock. I felt a wave of emotions running through me. Hurt, confused, angry, shocked and a feeling I've never felt before. I don't know what to do. For some reason, I'm running. I have no idea when I started running. I just ran. I went to the place I used to go to as a child. It was my favourite. My own, private place. Deep in the forest.
Cassandra's P.O.V
I finally arrived! Thank god! I climbed up the large willow tree, carrying all my heels and accessories in one hand. I don't know what I should do so I just cried. I know the feeling I flelt when I kissed him. I recognized it clearly. I don't know why really. I just do. I've read enough stories and listened to enough people to know that feeling was love.
I can't be in love with Niall though! The plan was to make him fall in love with me. Not me fall in love with him. This is a disaster! I've always wanted to fall in love! But not with a person who doesn't love me back and I absolutely hate! But I love him and UGH. I want to die. I really want to!
Snap!
I jumped in surprise. Someone's here! I quickly hid behind the tree, opposite to where the sound was coming from. I heard running and heavy breathing. I peeked to see who it was. The moon shone brightly on to that person, making him easy to see. Ruffled blonde hair, suit and tie. Oh sugar honey ice tea! It's Niall! Oh gosh.
I heard climbing and sobbing. Niall's crying. Crying! What the hell is he crying for? I slowly climbed out of my hiding spot and walked cautiously to the front of the tree, to where he was sitting and crying. I was careful not to be seen. But obviously not careful enough.
"Cassie?" I heard Niall stutter, "What are you doing here?" I climbed to a branch the was one step lower than the one he was now standing on.
"I could ask you the same." I muttered, sitting down and letting the bottom of my dress to cascade down.
"Used to go here all the time." I heard him mumble back. That's strange.
"Funny. Me too." I said. I've never seen him here before.
"I've never seen you here," Niall replied, his voice sounding more confident, "When did you go here?"
"When I was 4 or 5," I recalled, "I used this place to relax and clear my mind."
"Funny.Me too." Niall said. Weird.
"Well.." I said, "I've gotta go. See ya." I quickly climbed down and grabbed my belongings.
"Wait!" I heard Niall running towards me. I turned around.
"Uh.. what?" I asked, confused.
"I... I just want to do something." I heard him whisper.
"What-" I was cut off by lips smashing on to mine. Flippin' hell. I leaned back to a tree. I kissed him back. I kissed him back. What the hell is wrong with me? But it was nice. Okay, I'm lying. It was bloody brilliant. I felt fireworks, bonfires and all the sugar you get with fairy tales. But that all disappeared when Niall pulled away.
"I've been wondering, Cassie," Niall mumbled, "I've been wondering what that feeling I got was. That feeling I get when I look at you, kiss you and everything. It's so strange yet I love it. Please, help me work it out." I frowned. He felt the same way?
I walked to the direction of the limo before turning around and saying, "I think it's love, Niall."
Those were the last words I ever said to him...
