Chapter 5
Cassandra's P.O.V
I yawned. Gosh, I'm tired. I tried to sleep after that weird dream but I just ended up keeping myself awake. Oh well. Breakfast time. I want breakfast in bed. I pushed a button that said: 'Breakfast in Bed'. I could hear the sound of a bell ringing downstairs. Good. Eh. I better get a good 10 minutes of sleep.
"Miss Lovelace?" One of my maids, Alacie, asked. She was very nice. Just not my type of friend.
"Yes? Is breakfast ready?" I mumbled. 10 minutes of sleep makes you want a day of sleeping.
"Yes, Miss Lovelace. I've got the tray and everything. Would you like help setting it up?" She offered.
"No, thanks, Alacie. I'll be fine. You can have to rest of the day off today. I'm going out and mum and dad are going to work so all there is left is cleaning the house, really." I said, dismissing her. I ate my breakfast which consisted of eggs, toast, beans and everything really.
I spent the rest of the day watching TV and doing all the things that you would do on a lazy day: nothing, absolutely nothing. I stared at the clock as it turned 4. I'm forgetting something... aren't I?
And we danced all night
to the Best So-
"Hello?" I said, answering my phone.
"Cindy! Have you gotten ready for the party?" Crystal asked. Oh sugar. I forgot about that!
"Oh gosh! I forgot! I'll go get ready!" I exclaimed, ending the call and quickly rushing up to my bedroom. Well, the elevator made sure I didn't rush.
I raided my closets for something to wear. I finally decided on this: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=95167375. What? Just because I'm the 'Popular Girl', doesn't mean I have to wear revealing stuff all the time. I sprayed a bit of perfume and added some finishing touches to my make-up.
Honk, honk!
The limo was here. Again. Off to the party, I guess.
