Million Dollar Girlfriend
Day 1
*Ring*Ring*
The annoying thing on my bed side beeped and beeped and it would not stop. I groaned.
What is it called again?
Oh yeah, an alarm clock.
Lord, technology is annoying.
I fluttered my eyes open, letting them adjust to the light that filtered from the curtains. I still couldn't believe all of this was real. The linen covers, the bed, the clean clothes, and of course, the million dollars.
I pushed my feet into some warm comfy slippers, embracing the warmth. The sun shone through my hotel room and I heard a beep. My heart raced and I jumped a bit that's when I realized it was a phone, I mean my cellphone.
I recieved a text message. I pressed some buttons and the phone finally unlocked. The sender was Benjamin and the message was clear:
Harry will be at the Houses Of Parliament at 6:00 . Get dressed and go shopping at Oxford Street and then go there.
I sighed again, it'd be better if I just got the million dollars for free. See, for all that money, I had to make Harry my boyfriend. I barely knew who he was other than he was famous. Last night, I had spent reading about him on some crazy complicated device; a computer or something I really wasn't used to machines like that so, I ended up going to the library. To me, his life was a clichéd version of some fairytale.
I hopped in the shower. It was so good to be clean again and not have to worry about food or money any more.
"Aaah!" I moaned, "The luxuries of the rich."
I got changed into some outfit I had been given earlier and brushed through my hair. I applied some paint, I mean make-up or whatever this gunk was using some pictures and diagrams that I had printed out last night.
See, being rich came with luxuries I couldn't afford but being poor came with perks that I only knew.
I slipped out of the washroom, examining my room for all the things I needed to bring. I slung a bag over my shoulder which contained the phone with the secret messages and another phone for any other emergencies. It also contained a wallet with maybe, around a thousand dollars. I wasn't used to travelling with a bag so, I had nothing else to bring but a previously stuffed napkin.
I walked out of the hotel, the key in my hand. With each step I took had a little bounce of energy more than the other. I guess a million dollars changes a girls life.
Walking through the hallway I found the elevators, I pushed the button and waited for it. Jumping in I took the next cab to Oxford where I was met with a ton of British people and Shops. Ugh! I always hated crowds.
Putting my chin high in the air, I strutted towards the a shop named Debenhams.
I went through clothes and shoes and compared them to the picture on my phone.Yes i had to wear stuff that they wanted me to
Once i got close enough i purchased it.I went to the changing rooms and put on my outfit and stuffed the rest of my clothes into my bag.
Her Outfit
As i was told I had to just keep the napkin. The phones and wallet In my new bag and l left my old clothes and items in the cab, purposely. I then grabbed another cab to Houses of Parliments.
More people.God!
I entered and strutted my way
Searching through unfamiliar faces I found a curly haired boy with sunglasses, taking a wild guess I made my way there. Still strutting I grabbed a drink from the nearest vendor and made my way near his group. If I executed my plan properly I would get him to notice me, then phase number one complete.
I peered at him through my brown sunglasses as I walked past him. I intentionally bumped into some overweight man and accidentally teetered a bit too much on my heels causing my drink to go flying in the direction of a certain curly haired boy.
"Oof!" I let out a grunt landing purposely on my butt only a few inches away from his feet. I saw an object in my peripheral vision and recognized it as his hand. I used his hand to pull me up to my feet.
"I'm so sorry." I started rambling. I noticed his sunglasses travelling slowly down the bridge of his nose almost falling off. I peered at the green eyes hidden behind the black lenses, score! Right guy.
"Uh...It's fine." His voice came out in an adorable British accent. Don't get me wrong I didn't like him but anyone with a sane mind would think he's cute.
"Are you sure? Let me clean it off at least. I feel so bad." I rambled on some more and watched him grow uncomfortable beacuse of our distance
