Chapter 8
Macy's POV
I was awoken by Niall that morning, jumping on the bed, giggling like a 5 year old rushing me to get up. Grumbling and rolling over I make my way into the bathroom and brush my teeth and hair. While I was doing that Niall kept on yelling for me to hurry. Lord what was up with him this morning??
Still a bit grumpy from being woke up, Niall forces me down the stairs. As soon as I walk by the kitchen door four boys jump out yelling "Surprise!!!!"
"Jesus Christ!" I scream, accidentally punching Zayn, who happened to be the closest to me, in the nose. "Damn guys! Don't scare a girl like that! Now, Zayn are you alright?" I ask, still jumpy. Zayn was holding his nose while the other four, even Liam were practically rolling on the floor from laughing so hard.
"Lord Macy you can hit hard!" Zayn grimaced. I had to admit it was funny, but I felt bad. "Now, as we were about to say before you broke my nose, happy birthday!!" He yelled, and they all started singing happy birthday. Before I knew it I could feel the tears closing in, and I started crying. Niall was baffled.
"Baby, what's wrong? Are you alright?" He asked, worried etched on his face.
Jumping up, I wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tight. "I'm more than fine silly. With all the stuff that's happened in the last month I completely forgot. I forgot my own birthday. You don't realize how much it means that you remembered."
"I didn't just remember. Come on. I'm taking you someplace special. We are all going. We even invited Jade, Eleanor and Perrie!" He shouted causing me to pout.
"Nialllllllll you know I hate surprisessss" I pouted, puckering my lips to show how much I didn't like it. Instead of saying anything back he planted a quick sloppy kiss on my lips and picked me up.
"You guys get your stuff and load up. We can get nandos on the way" he ordered, carrying me to the range rover. Setting me down in the seat he buckled me in, and wrapped a blindfold over my eyes. I'm guessing Louis drove, because I could hear Harry and Zayn on one side of me, Niall on the other, and Liam in the front. As we pulled up to nandos drive through (does it even have on? Lol just humor me either way :P) after we make our orders and head to the first window, I hear the person clear their throat.
"Oh yeah sorry we're taking her somewhere for her birthday and don't want to know where yet. Her friends and our girlfriends are meeting us at the place were headed." Liam explained laughing.
"Yeah I'm fine. They just won't tell me where they're taking me" I shrugged. I'm guessing the person was freaked out by seeing a blindfolded girl in the back of a vehicle.
"That'll be $30.45" the lady at the window said, handing us the food and taking the money. "Thank you for your purchase and have a good day. Oh and happy birthday, miss." She added.
"Thank you" I replied as were were pulling out. We drove for a good while, eating our nandos. Haha chicken for breakfast.
"Finally! We're here!" I hear Louis yell. Niall takes off the blindfold, and as I look around I'm shocked. The airport?
Niall's POV
I decided a trip to France would be a good get-away. Macy needed it. She would have a chance to get Tom and all of her London troubles out of her mind. Taking the blindfold off, she looks around.
"Niall, why are we in the airport?" She asked. Ok time to spill the surprise.
"Ok so the place we are all going is....Paris, France!" I shouted. Her eyes go wide and she hugged me.
"You remembered" she whispered into my ear, pulling me in for a kiss. When she was 12, and I was 14, (yes I'm two years older than Macy) we were talking about places we would love visiting, and first in her list was Paris. She had never let that dream go, and now it was coming true.
"Now lets go find the others" I said, taking her hand and pulling her in the direction of the lobby.
