Chapter 1
Macy's POV
I was in my room crying. Tom was going to be home any in close to an hour and I knew he was going to find an excuse to hit me. Tom is my older brother. Our parents died in a car crash when I was about 9. I'm 17 now and he's 28. See he likes to drink. A LOT. Whenever he gets drunk he gets really abusive.
I walk over to my dresser, grab my blade and head to the bathroom. I've been cutting for a while now. It's like the only thing I can turn to. I take the blade, and slice. One. Two. Three. Four times. And more. As I'm about to pass out I here the door open and a gasp. Looking up I see Niall, my best friend, crying now and running to me.
Niall's POV
I was just getting back from tour and decided to go surprise Macy. She was my best friend in school and we kept it that way. Since the x-factor days I don't see her much, but I love it when I get too.
When I knocked on her door I didn't get an answer. "Hmm that's weird" I thought. She doesn't go anywhere when Tom is gone... Fishing out the spare key she gave me a year or two ago I head up towards her room. I can here sobbing coming from the bathroom and I get scared. When I open the door I don't know what to do. She's lying on the floor blood seeping out from her wrist. "Macy! Oh my god Macy are you ok?" I scream, tears pouring down my face. Running over to her I grab the first aid kit out from under the sink, starting to clean her arm.
"Im sorry Niall," she whispered tears pooling in her eyes.
"It's ok princess. You'll be alright" I cried. That's when she blacked out.
