(Harry's P.O.V.)
I made my way out of the airport as the cold breeze of London hit me. Yes I was finally in London. I walked towards the road and decided to grab myself a cup of coffee before going to Hailey Scotts house. She was my mother’s really close friend and I had met her a few years ago when she invited me for dinner during my education trip to London. Hailey Scott lived alone with her 3 daughters since her husband died and she didn’t want to get involved in a guy apart from her late husband.
I knew where she lived so it wasn’t much of a deal for me. She always said that I can always come to her if I need help. And I needed help right now, well more of a shelter. I grabbed a taxi and told the driver my destination as he drove me to where I had told him.

I got out of the taxi and paid the driver his money. He thanked me and left as I looked and smiled at the mansion infront of me. I knocked the door and hoped someone was home since I didn’t tell before coming. It took a few minutes before someone opened the door. The lady looked at me and smiled almost immediately after she recognized me.
“What a pleasant surprise Harry” Hailey said before engulfing me in a hug.
“Hello to you too” I said and smiled.
“C’mon in” She said as she allowed me to come in.

“Dinner’s ready” She yelled from the kitchen.
“You didn’t really have to do that Hailey” I said as I walked towards the kitchen.
“Yes I did, you’re like a son to me Harry” She said and smiled.
I sat on one of the dining chairs as she placed a plate of stake to me. I just took a bite when two girls came and sat right next to me.
“Meet my lovely daughters. This is Anna and this is Amy” She said proudly.
“Nice to meet you” I said.
They didn’t say anything, but just blushed. Anna was thin and pale with deep blue eyes and blonde curls while Amy was a little chubby with brown eyes and brunette hair. Anna looked as if she was 19 and Amy looked 17.
“I thought you had three daughters” I asked.
“Well, technically she’s not my daughter. She was from Tom’s first wife” She said and smiled.
“So where is she?” I asked curiously.
“She moved out” She simple said.
Before I could as any more questions, she changed the topic by asking “So what brought you here Harry?”
“A girl” I said and smiled to myself.
The rest of the dinner was filled with laughter and a little bit of chat. I would lie if I said I was interesting in what they were saying cause most of the time, I was lost in my own thought rather than listening to them and simply nodded after their every comment.
No wonder, Hailey and her daughters were lovely but right now I was in now mood of listening to them and just wanted to go to my room and sleep so I can go search for Mary tomorrow. Currently, Anna was telling me proudly how she insulted a girl who had called Anna a ‘bitch’. I quickly got up, interrupting her, as I smiled at them.
“It’s an interesting topic Anna but I am really tired since I’ve had a long day today” I said with a smile.
“Sure Harry, I’ll show you the way of your room” Both Anna and Amy said together and then glared at each other for copying one another. By their looks, I could tell that they hated each other, oh well.
They were so busy in arguing over who would escort me to my room, that they didn’t even notice me leave and go towards my room. Hailey had already told me which one was my room.I walked into my room and locked the door behind me because the last thing I needed was any one of the daughters breaking into my room.
I stripped off my clothes and quickly climbed into the bed, thinking of random stuff and all the moment of love I had spent with Mary. God I missed her. Slowly and gradually, I drifted off to sleep.
