So close, yet so far
(Harry's P.O.V.)
So I went to the kitchen and started to make sandwiches. Mary had been acting a little awkward today and she didnt tell me about why she felt like this, but i intended to know. It had started to drizzle outside and the weather was very lovely. I had decided that maybe I could take Mary for a walk or something if she felt like it. By the time I finished making sandwiches, it had started to rain very heavily, as predicted by the weather forecasters. I quickly placed the sandwiches on the dining table and decided to close the windows of the house. Once I finished that, I checked the clock, which showed that it was 3pm and it had been 45 minutes since Mary had gone to take a shower. She took really long showers, and when I say really long, it means REALLY REALLY long. I turned on the television and went to the kitchen to grab a can of beer. On my way back, I grabbed my mobile and jumped on the couch. I had 3 messages received, 2 from Louis and 1 was from unknown number. I started to read the text messages.

Harry! shut the windows! its raining loads!
I laughed at this text. He never forgets to remind me. Well, I dont blame him, he have a reason behind it.
Last month there was a huge storm and Louis was gone to a friends party. I took a nap and forgot to shut the windows. And due to this stupidity of mine, Lou woke me up when he got home and the whole house was flooded. It really took 2 days for us to completely take the water out of the house.
I lauged when I thought of it. Really, I really did a stupid thing. I decided to reply to Lou before he break into the house to check if the windows are shut or not.

Its raining loads, so Im gonna stay at Zarnab's. dont wait up :)
Oh great! Ill have the whole night with my girl alone for the first time. Smiling, I opened the next text message. I didnt know who sent it cause it was from some unknown number.

Hey dude, just wanted to invite you at my place on friday. party!! you have to come, i wont take no as an answer. Zayn x
Oh! a party! I love parties! I just replied to zayn that Ill come for sure and that I'll bring Mary along with me and he told me he didnt mind as far as I came. I took a sip from my beer and started to think of what we'll do tonight. Thats when the power went down. Oh well that was expected from the scary scene outside.
"STYLES! BRING ME CANDLE OR SOMETHING!" I heard Mary shout.
"Wait a sec!" I replied and lazily got up from the couch.
Oh great, since the power hardly every went down, I wasnt sure if there would be candle or something in the house. I went to the kitchen and started to look through all the cupboards in the search of a candle. Thats when I found 2 of them. Oh I was glad cause the last thing I needed was to go out and buy some. I quickly placed them on the counter and lit them up. Grabbing one, I headed towards my room.
"There you are, a candle!" I said, as I opened the door.
My eyes landed on the beauty standing a few steps ahead of me, wearing nothing but a towel. I placed the candle on the table next to me and took steps towards Mary. Every step I took towards her, she took a step back, trying to stay away from me.
"Who knew you were such a beauty, baby?" I whispered and smirked.
I saw her cheeks turn red from my comment but she tried to hide it. I loved how she tried to hide herself from me when she blushed. However, my gaze was still stuck on her perfect body. Soon I pinned her against the bathroom door. Before she could step away, I quickly stepped towards her and pressed by body against hers. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I leaned in to kiss her. But, before I could kiss her, she opened the bathroom door and ran inside and locked it. Damn! So close, yet so far!
"Haha! Poor Harry Styles! Im not that stupid babe" She said, while making fun of me.
"Well baby, you cant stay inside forever, now can you?" I said and smirked.
