OMG THIS STORY YAAS! I know you didn't ask for it but here's my review/thoughts so far!
Chapter 1: I love anything LGBTQ+ so I'm automatically intrigued! My only note is that Portland, Washington is not a real city. Portland is in the state of Oregon, not the state of Washington. Unless, of course, this is a fictional city, in which case disregard this.
Chapter 2: Lol Ashton would ramble when he's telling someone his name! That dork :P And...wait, hold up, so his friends won't let him date guys? WTF? TRIGGERED! SHOOK! Who the fuck are his friends? Mike Pence and the North Dakota State Congress Republicans? (Not even sorry, and yes, I did just get political.)
Chapter 3: Really subtle yet clever characterization of Ashton's mom and the kind of home he lives in by saying they have a lot of protein shakes in their house. Well done! I'm not really sure where you're going with this Trevor storyline but we'll have to wait and see!
Chapter 4: FUCKING HATE CALUM! (In the story, not in real life) I've also been known to antagonize Calum, and I made him to be a disgusting homophobe in my stories "Secrets on a Tour Bus" and he was a HUGE homophobe in the sequel "Tension on a Tour Bus." (Dat promo doe!) And I would like to say to Calum, "Yes, Josh probably does work at a gay club, and he probably has a lot of fun every night!"
Chapter 5: dat smut tho! And OMG Ashton had a wet dream! It's funny you bring that up because I'm writing a fan fic (it's called Prodigal) where I mention that in an upcoming chapter! (I've written it just haven't posted it yet.) (Also, more PROMO! I'm sorry I shamelessly self promote) Also, I actually hate Calum in this story.
All in all: I'm loving it, please keep going! I can't wait to see where you go with this! And sorry for the long ass comment, I'd be very touched if you made it all the way to the bottom! (get it, bottom, because they're gay...okay i'll sort myself tf out)

This is a good start, but I feel like the chapter in whole is a filler. Nothing eventful happens, all you've given us is the character's background to get us caught up to what he's doing now.
Maybe you could add more? You've got tons of characters in your list, why not introduce one of them to Josh? Show their first meeting in this chapter as an event, it's just a suggestion though.
